Corina as a host is fantastic, so communicative and welcoming. We felt comfortable to approach her about anything and she checked in on us with messages which was lovely! She has made a beautiful home away from home for her guests, there are great touches through the Airbnb that are so thoughtful; the clear labelling of everything was so helpful!The kitchen has so many useful things, we were able to cook and bake during our stay. The bathroom is lovely and I greatly appreciated how good the hairdryer was! the bedroom has dimmable lamps and a ceiling fan, so it was easy to make it super cosy; the bed is extremely comfortable! There was a lot of useful information available about what to do locally, and there is a grocery store within walking distance; walking to the store with mountains surrounding you is so cool! Corina and Paul were both just super warm and friendly, we will definitely be coming back to stay here in the future and I couldn't recommend it more to other guests!

Darryl’s place was beautiful and very clean. Check in was easy and the hosts were also easy to get in touch with. We had no issues at all and all amenities listed were provided. We would definitely recommend this suite to others!

The place was great for 4 guys staying for a fishing trip. 3 bedrooms and a pull out sofa. All beds and sofa was comfortable. The kitchen island was huge which made for a great space for cleaning our catch. The house is stocked like home. Sarah purchased a freezer for the fish to be frozen for her fisher guests, awesome amenity for us. Overall a great place to stay, we would definitely come stay again on our next fishing adventure.

We really enjoyed our time at Micha's place. It was really nicely laid out and very clean. We appreciated the excellent bed linens and bath towels and the bed was very comfortable. The home is in a quiet location but very close to amenities. Micha was a responsive host and left us freshly laid eggs as a welcome gift which we really enjoyed. She also left us some discount coupons for a local restaurant and we took advantage of that as well. We would absolutely choose to stay here again when next in Haida Gwaii. Thanks Micha!

Our crew needed a place to stay whilst in Terrace for Forestry work. The house had ample space, all the employees were super happy with the house and bonus, they had a bbq. We booked two weeks in a row!

Cozy home to stay in for a few days and very close/walkable to all amenities! Bed was very comfy, kitchen/house was clean, and the fireplace was lovely to sit by. Easy check in as well. The only thing I didn't think of was that it stays light out quite late in the summertime here and the bedroom curtains didn't block much, so I'd bring an eye mask next time.

5 stars, not just for the location but also for how wonderful Phil was as a host - proactive, flexible and responsive. Place is even better than photos and the location cannot be beat. I will be booking again.

Quiet property. Nicely updated. Laundry right next door. Kitchen was great. Host was very responsive and helped me get setup when I arrived - wifi password, plugged in stove, helped locate breakers to reset.

The perfect spot to take in the ever changing beauty of Haida Gwaii. Abalone Eyes House gave us a comfortable place to relax at the end of each day. The views of the mountains, inlet and town of Daajing Giids were breathtaking whether at sunrise or sunset. The place was clean, comfortable and spacious. We made most of our meals on site. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, but you do need to remember to bring your own spices, condiments including cream and sugar, favourite coffee and teas, aluminum foil, storage bags and containers if making lunches to take with you. Mike is a wonderful host, so helpful and his dog Tender is very sweet. There is a staircase to the front door, but nothing even a couple of seniors couldn’t manage. The space is good for 2-4 people. Centrally located with easy access to and from the ferry terminal. When it’s time to leave, you will be wishing you had stayed longer.

It was our first time staying at an Air bnb, and Alexos gave me a good list of what we could expect, which was all that he said and then some. The place was very clean and well laid out. The kitchen was fully set up for us to cook, eat and clean as we needed; the refrigerator even had some condiments. The furniture, including the beds (and bedding) was super comfortable & clean. I would definitely look forward to staying there again! Alexos was very accommodating and helpful with any questions that we had. We were happy to keep such a nice place as clean and tidy as we could.

I had a wonderful stay at Joanne’s place. The apartment is incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean, making it easy to feel at home right away. The location is fantastic—just one block from the community center gym and another block from the clinic, which made everything very convenient for me. Joanne is a fantastic host—attentive, thoughtful, and always available if needed. Without a doubt, I would be happy to stay here again. Highly recommended!

We think Alanah’s suite defines what a 5-star Airbnb should be. It is an easy to find location close to the ferry and tour departure point in the harbour. An ideal location for touring Haida Gwaii. Easy parking for a car and stairs leading down to the suite were not difficult and well-lit in the evening. The unit itself is spacious, well laid out, very clean and very well equipped for self-catering. There was tourist information in unit, and you could ask her for additional suggestions at any time. Alanah also left us some breakfast items and other treats that were appreciated and enjoyed. The suite has spectacular views from all rooms. We saw bald eagles and deer, from our window. We experienced great communication with Alanah before and during our stay. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend this suite to anyone.

Stepping into Peter’s place felt like entering a tranquil oasis. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the space is beautifully curated with thoughtful touches that blend comfort with a true sense of home. My only regret is that I wasn’t staying longer. I would wholeheartedly recommend Peter’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. I can’t wait to come back!
