"Alte Dorfschule" am Schweriner See

The 80m2 apartment is on the upper floor of an old village school in Wickendorf on the northern outskirts of Schwerin, 7 km to the centre. The Schwerin Lake is a few minutes walk away and easily accessible for a morning swim. The bright apartment with its own entrance consists of e i n e m large living/bedroom area with adjacent o f e n e r kitchen and a separate large shower room. There is a lot of space for 2-3 people and you will always find small artistic details in the apartment. The double bed has the dimensions of 2.0 x 2.0 m, a third single bed (normal size) Additional mattresses can be provided by the landlord. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge (without icebox) and an electric stove with oven. The car can be parked in the in-house yard. As a rule, the regular bus runs hourly to the city within 12 minutes. Also by bike along the lakes you are in the city center in about 30 minutes. Bicycles as well as the large, former school garden can be (co-)used with agreement. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. Pets can be brought with the consent of the landlord.

Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. Diese Wohnung liegt absolut zentral. Es besteht die Option auf ein zweites großes Zimmer. Das Wohnzimmer hat ein Bett, Klimaanlage, Infrarotstrahler, Couch TV und einen kleinen Balkon. Die Küche hat neben Herd und Ofen eine Espressomaschine, Thermomix und einen Waschtrockner. Die Katzen gehören mit dazu und werden völlig automatisch versorgt. Keine Verpflichtung für euch. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind vor Ort. Parkplatz findet ihr entweder im Parkhaus 10€ oder 20min Fußweg entfernt gratis.

Quiet city apartment

The apartment is located in a 300-year-old half-timbered house on the 2nd floor. It is very spacious (65 sqm) and absolutely quiet despite its proximity to the center. The renovation was carried out from an ecological point of view. Due to the old clay walls painted with glue paint, there is a natural indoor climate, but they require special ventilation rules that the tenant must adhere to. There is no TV, Wi-Fi is available. When the weather is nice, a seating area in the garden can be used.

From the apartment to the nearest swimming facility in Lake Schwerin, it takes 3 minutes on foot... to the castle you can reach on a beautiful shore path in 20 minutes and the city center is not much further. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful... there is a small forest within a 3-minute walk. The apartment is cozy and spacious (120 square meters)... there is also a second toilet (not pictured).You have a terrace and can barbecue in the garden. Heating/hot water are guaranteed.

The open living / sleeping room makes the apartment interesting especially for couples, friends or solo travelers. Surrounded by fields, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is a great place to relax. Nevertheless, great excursion destinations are quickly reached by car, which can be parked in the parking lot right outside the door.
