The Studio in the Sky

From artist studio to guest house, this little building is an ongoing project, with so much to offer. Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

Our family restored and enlarged it in in 1975. It has new style kitchen,and bathroom.and a wood burning stove for heating. Near towns of dungarvan and youghal.

Country View is a privately owned and maintained property, which is part of a larger 12 unit Holiday Home complex. It is just outside the bustling town of Dungarvan , well known for its fine food and different events throughout the year. It is also within walking distance of the Marine bar. The Marine Bar hosts traditional and folk music every weekend . Country View is located just off the N25 and is very convenient to explore Waterford, Cork and the south of Ireland.
