Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Knysna

De accommodatie van Pam ligt aan de rand van Plettenburg met een geweldig uitzicht op zee vanaf het terras. Het strand is via een korte wandeling bereikbaar. Pam is een hele attente gastvrouw die zelf ook een gedeelte van het prachtige huis bewoont. Wij zouden zeker terugkomen als we weer in de buurt zijn. Wat ons betreft zeer aan te bevelen.

Wir haben es sehr genossen bei Erica unsere Urlaubszeit zu verbringen. Sie war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das tolle Frühstück. Wir kommen definitiv sehr gerne wieder!

Lovely hosts, making an effort to receive us and make us feel welcome, cosy, home/golden oldie feel to the place, with a lovely balcony from which the lagoon is visible.

Lovely accomodation. Only stayed for a night and wish we stayed longer!

Great space right in the centre of town, with an amazing view! Staff were super friendly and had many local tips. Would recommend for anyone.

If you’re looking for great service and wonderfully friendly hosts then you’ll love the Knysna Manor House! We felt really comfortable and at home during our short stay, with a warm welcome from Richard when we arrived. Gail was extremely accommodating with my very tricky booking due to uncertain travel dates Breakfast was lovely, great position, close to town centre and Marina. Best value ever! Would highly recommend staying at this lovely BnB !

Great place to stay and worth every penny

My partner and I stayed at Gail's place over the New Year for one night on our way home and it was so lovely. The bed was by far the most comfortable bed I have slept in out of all the places we have stayed over the last week and it was clean and tidy. Gail was welcoming and helpful on our arrival and the Manor House was peaceful and quiet. It is definitely worth a stay at!

Diane and Rob are one of the loveliest people we‘ve met on our travel in SA. They cared about us like we are one family! Great location, amazing breakfast and everything you need is here! Diane and Rob pay attention to the small things you need like sunchairs, umbrella for the beach, insect repellent, etc.) Don‘t go anywhere else - stay here and relax to the fullest. A perfect stop after doing the Karoo to Coast cycle race, big comfy bed and good shower were just what I needed. Brilliant location and views, parking is up around the back handy to the rooms, I liked the guest house feel where you could mix with other guests in spacious shared areas, or relax in your room. I hadn’t noticed it included breakfast - so that felt like a bonus, and it was a very good breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Very neat and comfortable and seccure. The garden is a paradise with abundance of birds and Rentia is the perfect host. Very kind and accommodating. She invited us for early checkin to prepare for a busy day. We can reccomend this 4 star lodge with 5 star comforts.

Gail è stata molto ospitale e flessibile per l’orario di check-in, eravamo in ritardo sulla tabella di marcia e lei ci ha gentilmente aspettati oltre l’orario stabilito. Abbiamo inoltre ricevuto un upgrade della stanza, la quale era molto grande e ben pulita! La colazione varia dal dolce al salato, perfetta per un buon inizio di giornata.

Friendz Guesthouse is very neat and Mam Thembi was very nice. Had a delicious breakfast.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft, die Farm liegt wunderschön in der Natur und alles ist super sauber, ruhig und gepflegt. Die Hosts sind extrem freundlich und haben sich super viel Mühe gegeben, das Frühstück war extraklasse und frisch und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Wir können den Aufenthalt jedem wärmstens empfehlen :)

From our first day of our 1 week stay until the end, Neil and Tatjana had made us feel as though we were home. They are true super hosts. We will dearly miss the time spent with them. FYI, they have a dog called Dakota, she is one of the friendliest if not playful dogs, she is an absolute legend. We will definitely book again with Neil and Tatjana as they really try their best to accommodate and take great care of their guests. They gave us local attraction/tourist advice to go and visit. Neil offered us to make use of his canoe to go to the nearby national park and we had a great time there. I would recommend staying here if you're looking for a place to stay in Wilderness. We hope to see you again soon.

This place is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed every bit of it. The rooms are very comfortable and super clean. The host is very friendly and quick to respond. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Het verblijf was meer dan super! We hebben er zelfs geen woorden voor. Zo mooi, zo proper, zoveel te doen, perfecte gastheer (ook Richard). Ontbijt werd met liefde gemaakt. Perfecte locatie aan lagoon en zee. Dank je Roland en Richard.

We booked another room for our friends to stay with us and it was all arranged very nicely. Good breakfasts, a lot to do and comfortable rooms. Recommend it to everyone!

Amalies Haus liegt 15 Min. zu Fuß zur Plettenberg Beach, die sich kilometerweit mit feinstem Sand vor den teilweise hohen Wellen des Indischen Ozeans erstreckt. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt, ein kleiner Pool eher zum Abkühlen denn zum Schwimmen ist zugänglich. Die AirBnB-Bleibe ist hell und geräumig, das 2 m breite Doppelbett sehr bequem, das Bad hat einen WalkIn-Shower, das Geschirr und Besteck reicht für 2 Personen. Man kann Wasser kochen, im Kühlschrank kühlen, was dahin gehört, kochen geht nur draußen an einer Kochstelle mit Gas auf der Terrasse. Amelie und ihr Mann Mike waren offen und kommunikativ, sie haben uns mit Tipps zu einer schönen Wanderung auf der Robberg-Island versehen, sowie Restauranttipps, zu letzteren hatten wir gar keine Zeit. Mike findet Plettenberg a very clean City, der Nachteil ist, dass es es ausgedehnte weiße Siedlungen gibt, deren Häuser alle ein bisschen sehr hoch gesichert sind. Der große Pluspunkt Plettenbergs ist der phänomenal weite Strand.
