Holiday houses in Ko Tarutao

We had an amazing stay in Langkawi! Our host was super kind and always available whenever we needed anything. The place is located just next to the airport which is really convenient (the grab was only 5RM). Don’t worry about the noise because we actually never had to complain about it! Also, you can get great views of the planes. The WiFi in the room worked really well. There’s a large swimming pool outside, and the setting of the place was really nice. We felt like we were immersed in nature, and we also had a nice view of the private beach. However, just be aware that there are a lot of insects which is normal considering the location and the surroundings. There is an outdoor bathroom, but don’t worry because the bathroom was really clean. Just be careful of mosquitoes, bring some repellent with you. If not, there are electric repellents in the room that you can switch on.

Eine wirklich traumhafte Unterkunft, die wir absolut empfehlen können. Der Ausblick vom Balkon und Pool ist super, die ganze Anlage ist top gepflegt und sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt. An diesem Ort kann man voll und ganz die Ruhe genießen und entspannen. Mit einem Auto/Grab oder Roller kann man alles schnell auf der Insel erreichen. Alle sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man braucht vor Ort einen Roller, da es sehr außerhalb liegt. Aber eine Miete Vorort ist möglich. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und sehr ruhig. Vorort wurde immer schnell geantwortet und alles hat super geklappt.

Stayed here for a few days, though wish we had booked to stay longer - would stay here again if we come back to Langkawi! Nice village location, and love the traditional feel and quirky decor of the cottage. Kitchen is very well equipped if you want to cook. Marina was a fabulous host, sending detailed instructions for how to get there, our grab was less than 15 minutes ride from the airport. Our flight arrived after 9pm, but Marina was available to greet us upon our arrival, and had made sure we had some basics such as bread, water, juice, and homemade cordial and pineapple jam-delicious! She even took us out for a drive to help get our bearings in the village and show us local recomendations for places to eat; we tried and highly reccomend the breakfast at Warong Mak Som Roti and the Pak Long satay, both a 10min walk away. A good base to explore the island whether by grab or hire car, or just to sit in the hammock with a book and relax to the sound of the birds and frogs!

Iba a quedarme 2 días y finalmente me quedé 4😊 Un lugar muy agradable, super bien situado y con el personal muy atento y amable. Recomiendo 100% los masajes que ofrecen en el resort, personas certificadas y con una atención maravillosa hacia el cuerpo!

The property has great facilities and was exceptionally well kept. all the staff were very friendly and helpful and were always on hand if we had any questions. Anis clearly wrote in her description how remote the property is but it was a little more remote than I had realised. The local supermarket was as an 8 min drive and we found it impossible to find fresh meat ( apart from chicken) and fish anywhere. maybe if we had driven further we could have found something fresh to cook but this was disappointing. Rains lodge is such a fabulous place a complete 1 off that I would definitely recommend. My only hesitation would be the close proximity of fresh food and therefore the addition of breakfast or even better other meals in the package would be warmly welcomed. The property is a real gem

Wow, where do I even begin? My 5D4N stay with my partner at Nini’s cozy lil’ sanctuary was pretty much perfect—the cleanliness, complimentary drinks in the room, easy access to Netflix, and not forgetting the best part of it all which was the hearty & scrumptious breakfast we had the privilege of indulging in. Nini puts in so much love & thought into every dish she creates, we could taste it in every spoonful. When my partner and I sustained some injuries from an ATV accident, Nini & her husband showed us care & concern. They even gave us some first aid supplies which came in handy, since we did not have our own. If there was one thing that helped us ‘heal’ from the traumatic accident, it was hands down Nini’s cooking, along with the beautiful view of the paddy fields every morning—truly healing, to say the least. Our final morning there was nothing short of memorable; we spent time bonding with Nini & her lovely family. All in all, thank you so much, Nini! We hope to see you again! ❤️
