Farmstay holiday rentals in Kochi

It was a very homely experience to stay at a quiet and serene heritage bungalow. Crispin and Soni are very accommodating and help in making your stay comfortable. Breakfast and meals makes for good conversation. Crispin was also kind enough to arrange local and intercity transportation which made our stay convenient. Great place to stay with family.

Our stay at Vishnu’s place was great! We loved the calm environment of the farm. We could bike to the beach everyday and have nice local food around the property. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The moment I arrived, I was greeted with tea and nuts, and instantly felt at home. Swati, Amma, Ananth, and everyone there are warm hosts who make you feel like part of the family. Food is delicious and being by the river is incredibly peaceful. If you want to go farther afield, you’re about an hour’s drive from Kochi, two from Allaphuzha, and 1.5 from the airport, so day trips are doable. Overall a perfect place to relax and/or work remotely.

The farmhouse is the perfect location for leisure as well as work. The wifi is great and there is a power backup. Mr Vishnu has thought of literally everything needed for a comfortable long stay. The kitchen is fully functional with the required utensils, basic groceries and even a mini fridge. Our personal favourite was the skylight roof bathroom. The place is quiet, peaceful and clean. There is a huge temple right opposite the property and the beaches are only a couple of kms away - easily walkable. Overall, we had a great time!

It's a great place for family and friends. You can pass time in the huge lawn that surrounds the house. Host is very friendly. It's an amazing value for money place!

We had a wonderful stay in our little Bungalow in Alappuzha. It was so comfortable and cozy and we loved our semi out door shower. We had 2 evening meals cooked and one breakfast which were unreal. The cottages are central to everything we wanted and Tony & his lovely wife guided us to what we wanted to do in the area. Thank you. We would definitely stay again. :)

This is hands down the best Airbnb experience we have had. The warmth and affection Viji Chechi showed made us feel like we were staying at a home away from home. By the end of our stay, she felt like one of our family members. Another great thing about this property other than its stunning infrastructure,space and warm host is that it is pet friendly. Would definitely plan another visit soon.

The traditional Kerala lunch was outstanding, with the Kareemeen being a particular highlight. This was my second stay at Vijo's, and I'm thrilled to recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience.

Anilals place is at the centre of backwaters. It was a bit hard to find but Anilal was very responsive and guided us. He was an amazing host and showed us around even though we arrived late. The dinner and breakfast were very delicious and homemade. The backwaters from Anilals home had the most beautiful sunrise. Would recommend.

Great stay. Comfortable and peaceful location. Only downside was AC not working and water flow was slow. But I got the partial refund from the host.

Vishnu ji hosted me and my family with absolute generosity and respect. His place matches the description completely but what does not get captured is how he and his family make special attempts to make you feel at home. They are kind, considerate and welcoming. The village has a certain rustic charm to it with super friendly villagers who were up for a quick chat on most days. We had been on the move for close to a month in Kerala, and this was the first place that lived up to the kind of experience one expects from a homestay. If you are looking for medium to long stay, you won't be disappointed. The place has an easy, laid back vibe and in terms of hospitality, you are in good hands.

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place where you can dream and think, "The Shelter" is what you need. A fair place with no less said hostess Alice. Elegant view, beautiful garden, two friendly dogs. All is clean, neat, crystal clear water from the tap and live organic food. Alice spoiled us with her culinary masterpieces. I really liked everything. I recommend this place!

Judit is a wonderful host. She is attentive, thoughtful, and has great suggestions for things to do around the area. Her and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming as they provide an authentic, unique adventures. We went for long walks around Kothamangalam/Nadukani, where you are immersed in a lush, tropical countryside. It's a good way to ease yourself into visiting India if you haven't been before, where cities can be a bit overwhelming. Judit also provides tours on request and we enjoyed learning about local history and agriculture. Food was absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh, homemade, and you are treated to a variety of local cuisines. The home itself is clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had the drawing room all to ourselves for a large chunk of the time spent there. Overall, highly recommended.

During our stay with Swami and Amma, we felt well taken care of. Swami accompanied us in the morning through active meditation and Amma and her helpers cooked us delicious food. During the stay, we received treatments at the local Ayurvedic hospital, which was exciting and soothing, and the organization was very well run by our hosts. Mr Jose and family are leading a prestigious life in and around their circle. It was a pleasure to meet people like them and had a great stay for 2 weeks. They lend us their bike whenever asked for transportation. Their two son's have guided us along the path on where and how to explore. We can also rent a car in this facility which made us so easy to reach kochi in the weekends which is just 35kms away. A much recommended place for private working space and to meet gold hearted people
