We had a very comfortable stay.. the house is well maintained, air conditioners were in good condition, the kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms were very clean.. Peaceful quiet neighborhood and close to nearby temples too..

one of the best stays i had so far...Devaiah's parents were so welcoming and friendly overall best place to stay and explore in coorg.

After spending 4 days at Bharath's place, I can only think of good things to say. The location is excellent if you're looking for a quiet, scenic getaway. The home overlooks coffee plantations and also forests on a hill - there is greenery everywhere! The property itself is a home with beautifully maintained flowers and other plants. The room itself is very spacious and comfortable. There is an attached kitchen which includes a stove, fridge, and basic utensils - enough to make quick meals but nothing elaborate. The bathroom is clean and we had no trouble getting hot water. The beds are comfortable. Can't really ask for more. Spots such as the Irpu Falls and Nagarhole NP are nearby. Importantly, Bharath and his family are wonderful people, and made us feel right at home. As long as you have the expectation that this is not a commercial venture and you're staying in someone's home, you are sure to have a very peaceful and relaxing trip to Coorg when staying here.

It was a wonderful stay at Mr Ganapathi's homestay. We actually moved in to hus homestay from another place, where we had a very bad experience. But Mr and Mrs Ganapathi not only made us feel at home but their property is also very good. We stayed in one of the bungalows which had enough open space where our pet could freely toqm around. Infact they also allowed our pet to roam around in their garden as well. They are a very good host with a great property, we have no complaints with our 4 day stay in this homestay, and I would love to visit this place again if I ever come to Madikeri.

Beautiful home! Comfortable stay at a friends place. that's the feeling I carried at the checkout. host family was extremely polite , helpful and simple. beautiful surroundings of coffee plantation and biodiversity made it a perfect relaxing vacation. will come again

From the start, Kenith was really helpful in guiding even the smallest things. The place was hygienic and exactly like how it's listed. Kenith picked up our calls whenever we called and made us feel comfortable as well. Totally will suggest this place!

Host was amazing, place was extremely well organised, each and every thing required was there, would recommend all to choose this, as it is near to the main market yet it gives a secluded vibe. I wish them all the best hosting.

Sampan's place is beautiful. It's tucked away in a quiet corner and all you can hear are the birds! They're both wonderful hosts and seem to know what you might need by sheer intuition! Don't miss Som's Getaway when you're in beautiful Kodagu, the land of hospitality!

Gokul’s home stay was cozy and at home experience with home cooked food. It has a beautiful flower garden around it in the middle of a forest. Thank you Gokul and his family for making the stay more comfortable and pleasant experience.

Perfect place for bachelors to hangout and for people who are traveling to visit the nagarhole tiger reserve. it's a 5 min off road drive to reach the place from the main road. The caretaker knows the surroundings well. It has a decent pool for 5 people to chill around.

This place has its beauty of it's own, the birds singing in the morning, the lush green garden and landscapes and most importantly the hospitality by Arun Sir was the best. Also, our best buddies Lucy and Happy made our stay outstanding.

If you're a nature lover then this place is perfect! Our stay was everything that we thought it would be - we walked around the jungle and spent a lot of time in the water stream! Some things to know before you visit: 1. Important to carry an insect repellant since it's in the middle of a forest 2. It's a 20 min drive from Peravoor, most resturants are located here. Since the cabin is quite remote, you would need to visit Peravoor for meals. Plan accordingly! 3. MOST IMPORTANT - The water stream is a one of a kind experience, do not miss spending time in it :)

I would like to commend Jagan on maintaining such a wonderful property. I had the best two days while I was there. The food was amazing. Must go place for al you solo travel enthusiasts.

I had the most incredible stay at this private farm resort. The quality of the services, including the buffet food was amazing, completely it was of wonderful guest experience. The staffs were very kind, sweet and respectful and the atmosphere here was amazing and very peaceful. Also it has a private pool under a banyan tree.

We had the honor to meet a great couple, who hosted us like family. We enjoyed Shoba's cooking thoroughly and Sahil's great stories and heart to heart conversation kept us engaged and entertained throughout our stay. Extremely warm people and very hospitable hosts. The property was beautiful and we made the most of the river to go canoeing everyday. We strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for some quiet time in nature and away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

We stayed for a 2 day period, and the place was absolutely beautiful. it is luxurious, well designed, and has all amenities that we could ask for. more importantly, the host team created a message group with us and were super responsive throughout our time there. the breakfast they served was also super, my favourite was the idli/dosa + sambar and chutney. highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Wayanad! The villa was spacious, impeccably clean, and had all the amenities we could ask for. The best part? The breathtaking views of the mountain ranges from every side—waking up to such picturesque scenery was truly magical. The meals were another highlight—each dish was delicious, homely, and made with so much care. It felt like dining in a traditional home kitchen! A special shoutout to the host and staff, who were incredibly warm, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Their generosity and hospitality made our trip even more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation and will definitely be back! The stay at Nephila Farm was generally good. They accommodated a slightly early check-in. Jaswant is very helpful, as is Subbu the caretaker. The place is clean and neat. blankets pillows and towels are provided. There are two plug sockets by the beds. The bathroom feels a bit dark due to the lighting being less and the use of the redoxide but it was clean as well. Some intermittent downtime for both electricity and internet though Jaswant did communicate this is being worked on. Only once at night did it completely shut off for an hour. Recommend (for the price): Tiling the bathroom and increasing the lighting to make it feel better Provide some seating in the room Provide a kettle and a coffee/tea tray Increase pre-checkin message responsiveness. Increase the tree cover near the house so that sitting outside in the afternoon is possible AC for the summer(it was 33 degrees and fan struggled to cool) Special mention to Jaswant for ensuring I had breakfast before I leave.

We visited during the monsoon, and the lush greenery made the experience even more magical. The atmosphere was serene, with only the soothing sounds of nature around. Sachin was incredibly responsive and always ready to help, and the caretakers were attentive and available around the clock. Truly grateful for the hospitality. Highly recommended!

We’re a close-knit group of friends who’ve known each other for over 30 years, and we were looking for a quiet, private getaway—and Akarsh’s place was absolutely perfect. Tucked away on top of a hill with a stunning 360° view, it offered complete seclusion with no one else around. Even in April, the breeze kept things cool and comfortable throughout the day. If you’re after a scenic, peaceful retreat where you won’t be disturbed—and won’t be disturbing anyone else—this is the place for you. The bonus - Akarsh himself is super friendly and approachable. He even joined us on a couple of treks to nearby hills, which made the experience even more memorable. We had an amazing time and made some unforgettable memories.
