Cozy log cabin semi-detached house near the center of Ruka. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances (dishwasher, induction stove, oven, microwave) and comprehensive dishes. Downstairs in the cottage, the living room-kitchen is an open space and there is one bedroom with a double bed. Attic upstairs with separate sleeping areas at the ends. One with a sofa bed and the other with two separate beds. Wi-Fi connection, air heat pump, 11kw charger with type2 connector (electricity is charged separately). A short distance to the ski trail from the yard of the cottage!

Villa Jaakkola

Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and airy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen. There is also plenty of space and sleeping places in the loft. A new lakeside sauna was built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the modern conveniences, and the large windows offer a magnificent lake view in two directions. It's nice to watch the northern lights and listen to the silence in the warmth of the fireplace. Welcome!

Porotieva - Reindeer Retreat Lakeside

Private new beach cottage on a large plot, amphitheater-like location on the shores of the very clean Lake Livojärvi, on the Lapland Riviera. Two saunas (wood-heated and electric-heated) and a hot tub. You may see reindeer right in the yard of the cottage. During the summer season (May to August), we offer two SUP boards, a boat and fishing gear. During the winter season, we offer a few snowshoes, skis and poles for skiing, as well as fishing equipment for ice fishing. The property has a hill and stairs.

Nearby are wonderful nature sites: Karhunkierrokset, Riisitunturi, Ruka, Kiutaköngäs, etc. You can make day trips to nearby destinations. The beach sauna is at your disposal and we will advise you on how to heat it. WiFi available. The price includes linens and towels for three.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

In winter, you can go skiing directly from the yard of the cottage. The maintained ski trail is about 200 m away. You can also take a snowmobile directly from the yard. In summer, you can go hiking directly from the yard. There is a dock and a rowing boat on the beach.

Cozy cottage near by Ruka (5km). Only three semi-detached houses in the same area. The nearest grocery store (Sale market) is 3 km away. Linens (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase) and towels are not included in the rent, they must be brought to the cottage yourself. Or you can rent them from me for an extra fee €25/person. Toilet paper and paper towels are available at the cottage. The rental includes 1 bag of firewood.
