Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Koillismaa

Good and inexpensive accommodation for our large group. There was plenty of space and comfortable beds for everyone. We found everything we needed. There was room for two cars and a trailer.

The stay was really good, and with the dogs in a great location. We'll definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay and would come back at any time! There's even a Christmas tree :-) Everything was as in the description, you have a lot of space! The kitchen is super equipped. Minna is very friendly and a great host- she even gave us tips on the northern lights, which we could see in one night above the apartment!

A beautifully decorated cabin on the lake. Everything you need. Good description of the hostess was completely accurate. Off the beaten path with great excursion destinations to Ruka and Kuusamo.

We had a great time staying at the cabin during the solstice. The surroundings are more beautiful than shown in the photos and faces out towards the setting sun. The cabin is very peaceful and is in a great location close to a lot of national parks. We particularly enjoyed swimming and taking the boat out on the lake. Sven was a great host and quick to respond to any messages.

Me and my partner really loved the stay at Martti´s place - the place was clean and cozy and very close to the Ruka Ski Center. The sauna heated up quickly, the view from the balcony and bedroom window was just amazing! Will definitely visit again and suggest this place to my friends!

Compact, cozy, incredible peace, reindeer on the nearby road

The cabin is cozily furnished and has everything you need for relaxing days in Finland. We stayed here with our two small children (1 and 3 years) and felt very comfortable. From the sauna you have a great view of the lake. Boating was a highlight for our children and there are even life jackets for the very little ones (0 - 15 kg). The contact with Olga was super straightforward.

The success of the accommodation is best described by the fact that as long as the schedules are met, I will book the same accommodation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ again if possible. Communication with Katri was very smooth. It was easy to get to the accommodation by public transport and the walking distance to Ruka village was suitable. The neighborhood was peaceful. The sauna was nice at the end of a long day outdoors and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. Everything else needed was found in the accommodation. Big thanks to Katri!

Great place for those looking for some privacy! It's easy to take day trips to the beautiful natural sites in the surroundings and relaxing steam from the sauna in the evenings ❤️ Sanna was a great and considerate host. Communication and response was quick :)

The villa met expectations, and 11 people stayed there well. The location was good: close to the shop, the services of the center of Ruka, and walking to the nearby lean-to. A functional villa with amenities!

We spent four days at the property in January 2025. The cabin was very lonely located on a frozen lake very idyllic and quiet. You could rest completely, without any traffic noise. It was fantastically beautiful, there was a lot of snow on site in January. Especially the sauna was very nice, the extra fees for the HotTub were a bit too high in my opinion, as the cabin was priced higher. It was also not that easy to put it into operation with wood. The main cabin was very well furnished, the kitchen super equipped. With a passr shopping, you could eat yourself very well. However, if you want restaurants or supermarkets nearby, you should book somewhere else, as you had to drive 10-15 minutes here by car. It was so perfect for us. The beds very comfortable, ideal for a family with 4 children. The TV is a little too small for the size of the room.

Our second visit to this cottage, which has a good level of equipment, dishes, spices, and basics. High-quality bedding and linens. Warm decor. Hot tub nicely protected by the forest, in privacy. With dogs, it's easy to go jogging in the woods. We'll have a great time, and I'm sure we'll book again. Thank you to the owner for the welcome!

We left for 2 nights of relaxation from the seasonal work in Rovaniemi to Villa Kanger Ruka 1 for February 4, 2025 - February 6, 2025. We were 6 people and really enjoyed our time. Villa Kanger Ruka was better than we could have imagined! Things to do and hangout were found for everyone (together and separately): some were skiing at Ruka, some sled in the yard, and some enjoyed the hot tub. So there was plenty of things to do and what to do and Villa Kanger Ruka made it all possible with its great setting. We would have wished we could have stayed longer, and I'm sure we'll come again at other times! Thanks!

Our stay with the four of us totally met our expectations - we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back :) Especially great is the quiet location in beautiful countryside, the sauna and the barbecue hut next to the house :)

This stay was MAGIC! We cannot thank Lotta and her team enough! It is incredibly romantic. It offers everything you could wish for. All the kitchen supplies, dishwasher, washing machine, sauna, snowshoes, a hut for cooking over a fire. Your own access to the lake. It feels like you and nature. We were also able to observe one of the most powerful boreal auras ever seen (by us) two nights in a row. The sauna and the dip in the snow renewed our energy. Lotta was really nice and answered all our questions quickly, making us feel cared for. We leave our hearts and souls here and wish you, too, the chance to get in touch with this magical land.

A perfect little break in an amazing setting, all comfort and quiet. Thank you for the last minute acceptance everything was perfect, the terrace that does not appear in the photos gives this cute cabin even more charm!
