To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 min. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer snowshoeing and cross-country skiing instruction in winter, please contact us if you are interested.

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are remotely located in stunning natural surroundings. The cabin in the forest, like the other cabins, has a fantastic view of Mjøsa and Kastadtjern. Here you can unplug and wake up to a delicious breakfast basket with freshly roasted croissants. Suitable for 2 people. The forest is one of 3 stone cabins on the farm The other two are Røysa and the field. All three cabins are so close that several couples can book together. But so unashamedly that no one sees you! Hiking terrain and ski slopes in the immediate vicinity (ski slopes into Nordmarka, or drive 10 min to Mylla)- Includes living/dining room, new IKEA kitchen (with induction oven, oven, fridge/freezer), bathroom with incineration toilet and shower, 2 bedrooms with a total of 5 beds. Electric heaters (not wood burning). Duvets and pillows for 5 people, the tenant brings their own bed linen and towels etc.

About 40 minutes to Lillehammer and Hamar, 80 minutes to Oslo Airport. Free parking. The house is fully equipped. Private screened outdoor area with a view.

Konglehyttene er presentert i National Geographics Special Edition Lakes & Mountains. You'll love this unique and romantic place. The cabin has full bathroom with toilet and shower, kitchen with fridge, freezer and hob. Outdoors you will have your private cone sauna. If you are more than two guests, you will have access to the small guest cabin next door. Then you have two bedrooms and share a bathroom/kitchen in Konglehytta itself. The guest house has a fridge, coffee maker and some equipment.

Beautifully situated log cabin 10-min drive from the center of Lillehammer. Short distance to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, which offers an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks. 15-min drive to Nordseter, about 20 minutes to Sjusjøen, both with excellent trails for hiking and skiing. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.
