The modern cabin from 2022 is located in the beach zone at Herlandsneset at the end of Atløy in Askvoll Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane. The plot is sunny with panoramic sea views that can be enjoyed from the cabin's hot tub. There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a special brand and knowledge known as a sailing brand along the coast. To the south is the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can go there and to Værlandet and Bulandet.

Recharge and enjoy peace and quiet, overlooking the beautiful Sognefjord in our new Bungalow. Sleeps 4, but we recommend for 2 persons. Recommended to see nearby: Ancient ruins of World War II. Rich archery where you can walk all the way out to the lighthouse lantern. Gulatingsparken, 20 min by car. Bicycle roads. During the winter months you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky . The ferry goes over the fjord, and to Solund.(free ferry) Remember to shop before you arrive, not shop in Rutledal. Welcome.

Hytten er tegnet av kunstner og eieren av hytten. Den ligger på et vakkert kulturbeite med panorama utsikt utover Bøfjorden, Sognefjorden og fjellene. Urtehage, blomstereng og en liten gressplen skaper en idyllisk atmosfære. Hytten ligger ca 100 m over havet, med turmuligheter direkte til Bø-heia like ved, samt spektakulære turmuligheter en kort biltur unna. Bygden Leirvik har et lite tettsted, ca 2,5 km fra hytten, med en matbutikk og hotell, samt et skipsverft nede ved fjorden.

I recently stayed at this beautiful Airbnb in Gulen and it was exactly what I needed for a peaceful getaway. The location is incredibly serene, surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The tranquility of the area allowed me to fully relax and recharge. The accommodation itself was comfortable and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a stress-free stay. The home is a 20 minute drive from Vik, where you can get groceries and restaurants, but it's a beautiful drive so we didn't mind it at all. We sat and watched the sky change over the fjord every morning.

I absolutely loved this place – it was everything I hoped for and more. So cosy, private, and peaceful – a perfect little escape from the busy world. The cabin had such a warm and welcoming vibe, and the atmosphere made it feel like a true home away from home. It was stocked with firewood for the chimney, which added to the charm, especially on chilly evenings. The owners were lovely – they spoke excellent English and were incredibly helpful and friendly. When we needed a few basic things like milk and sugar, they went out of their way to help us out, which we really appreciated. Their hospitality made the stay even more special. The house itself was absolutely stunning – beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. It gave me that magical feeling of living in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by peace and nature, yet still feeling completely safe and cared for. If I could live in that home permanently, I honestly would – that’s how much I loved it.

Tore is an extremely communicative and friendly point of contact. It was beautiful to be with the animals and the totally playful shepherd probably took me to heart. The cabin (house) is very comfortable and cozy. Everything is impeccable and clean. A very cozy stay from which there is a lot to experience!

We had a wonderful time here, plenty of room for four adults with room to spare! Nice touches of comfort and style throughout the home. It is important to note there are no restaurants or grocery stores walkable, we appreciated knowing that ahead of check in. The 40 minute ride to downtown Bergen and 10-20 minute ride to food options was minor compared to the wonderful, beautiful place! Great kitchen and outdoor grilling area to prepare food. Responsive, friendly hosts!! Would definitely stay here again!!!
