Holiday houses in Kolimpithra

We really enjoyed our 4 days at Ikia Summer House - a great, quiet place with first class beaches. The little house is excellently equipped, furnished with great attention to detail and spotlessly clean. Everything works perfectly, all the windows have mosquito nets and the location directly above the two beaches is fantastic with a breath taking view! The only thing we had to get a little used to was the low ceiling on the upper floor. We really enjoyed the beautiful terrace with table, comfortable chairs and a deck chair! The owners were extremely helpful and provided us with lots of information about places to visit and good restaurants. Kolimbithra and Ikia is definitely a very good choice to spend a great Holiday! Toller Blick über die Bucht - war ein entspanntes Wohnen bei Stratos. Ein sehr angenehmer Mensch, der sich kümmert, wenn man etwas braucht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Eine Katzenfamilie kam auch zu Besuch. Die Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen, aber gerade das hat uns gut gefallen - man braucht ein Auto. Direkt um die Ecke gibt es zwei kleine, einsame Buchten - Griechenlandurlaub ganz ursprünglich. Super! Etwas schwierig ist die Selbstversorgung, da es auf der Insel kaum Mini-Märkte gibt. In der Chora (Tinos Stadt) gibt es drei Supermärkte - man muss das Einkaufen also etwas planen.

The suite is gorgeous, comfortable, and so peaceful!! We had everything that we needed for a quiet, luxurious holiday. It is great to have a parking space and walking distance to the beach, though the pool and covered patio are so nice it’s tempting to stay there all day looking at the sea. Antonia has thought of everything. She’s so welcoming and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and beautiful villages to visit. I recommend to anyone looking for a lovely holiday. We were sorry to leave and would be thrilled to return.

First, before I arrived, they offered to drive me from Tinos (the town) where they live, to Panormos, about 30 mins drive, to show me the place. I thought this was very kind. I was to rent a car , so we met in Panormos with George, who apart from showing me all the details of the house, he was so informative on details about the area, beaches and restaurants. The area is so peaceful and very friendly. I soon got to know people. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax and charge your batteries, this is it! I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Thank you Melissa and George for everything, including a well maintained and clean place!

Maison surplombant une baie paisible, bien construite, bien équipée et aérée, bienveillante, personnelle, sans chichis et agréable à vivre, avec des terrasses ombragées et des couchers de soleil apaisants. Merci à François pour son accueil impeccable pendant cette semaine toute en douceur de vivre sur cette île que nous affectionnons.

Excellent from start to finish. Met us at the end of the road, opposite port, sent pic of where she would be. lovely greeting & showed us around & helped in everyday. the appartment was spotless & well equipped. We were travelling the islands on a budget so therefore cooked our own meals. Everything was there that we needed. even extras, salt, pepper, herbs, even complimentary melba toast, butter, jams, coffee. cream & water. Full oven, fridge freezer, kettle etc. table & chairs in kitchen area. Bathroom was small but we coped well & always hot water from solar panels. Shampoo etc too. Soft towels. The bed was king-size & was very comfortable, with dressing table, stool & large mirror. Sofa was also comfortable with tv. There were 2 balconies, 1 with table & chairs. Air-con & WiFi was good. The area was very clean & quiet. Location was excellent., for port & buses. Supermarket, bakery, bars & cafes. Town was 10 min walk to the heart of everything. Can't say her praises enough.

We had a great time in John's accommodation! The apartment is cozy and has everything you need. We really enjoyed the garden and the roof terrace for breakfast and dinner. What a luxury to have both of them! John was super helpful and approachable at all times. Thank you so much for the mineral water and the fresh fruit with which he welcomed us. The apartment is just a few minutes' walk from the beach. There is a beach bar there that plays good music and throws parties (maybe not for people who are looking for peace and silence only). Three other beaches with different characters, from organized to tranquil, are within walking distance. Kolympithra is also a good starting point for the island's beaches and the beautiful towns and villages inland; we got everywhere with our scooter.
