Holiday rentals with beach access in Kontokali

We loved our stay at this Airbnb! Just a 15-min walk from Corfu airport and 20 mins to the city center, it was perfectly located (though the lack of pavement might be tricky for those with mobility issues). The host was wonderful, meeting us with the keys late at night and even leaving a baked treat on arrival—a lovely touch! The space was spotless, well-decorated, and comfortable, with a beautiful garden view and a cozy balcony that even had a friendly orange cat visitor! Wi-Fi was fast, and Netflix was ready to go. Only minor issue was the kitchen setup; sharper knives, a larger chopping board, and a microwave would have helped, but it was manageable. As vegans, we found plenty of options nearby, especially at Markas Super Market, and great spots to explore like the Archaeology Museum. Overall, a delightful and convenient place to stay in Corfu—highly recommended!

We wanted a quiet week away not at alongside a big resort, so this was ideal. It was basic but clean and we had all we needed. It is as the description and other reviews state, near a beach just over 10 mins walk from beach. Yes it was a steep walk to the closest beach. We found another coastal path to another amazing beautiful beach Glyfada and went twice. Down the narrow path to the north end of the beach. So yes you must be physically up to a trip out on foot. Or hire a car its only 25 min drive to Corfu town. Nothing is very far away. We wanted to not rush about so we stayed local. We took the bus one day. Climbed the mountain to the church. Used lindas mini market for groceries. We also ate at 2 walkable tavernas Spiros97 **and Elia both good food and super freindly. Stavros a very thoughtful host, helped us with a lift host had food and wine waiting for that evening. Great communication and local recommendations. Nice location. Fireflys if you visit in May...Amazing!

We loved our stay here! My friends and I were originally going to stay at a hostel, but we found this place last minute—and it was such a great decision. The price and location were perfect. We didn’t rent a car, but the bus stop was just a 10-minute walk away, making it super easy to get into town and explore the nearby beaches. The apartment was quiet, peaceful, and filled with natural light thanks to the big sliding windows. It had everything we needed right from check-in. Our host gave us tons of great recommendations and was incredibly responsive—any time we needed something, he got back to us within minutes. Thank you for the best week!

Elena was a wonderful host who went out of her way to personally welcome us during check-in. She shared many great tips for things to do in the area and was always available, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. She was very accommodating with our check-out and made sure we felt completely comfortable and at home. Everything was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

Very lovable people own this magic place. They’ve been very caring with us every day. The place is absolutely amazing, you have a beautiful view on all ipsos bay and is very near to the beach bars and markets.

We spent 10 nights in this beautiful, bijou apartment. Everything is as described, and Luka the host, is incredible. There is nothing this man won't do to help your stay be as comfortable and as joyous as possible. Just read the other reviews, he goes above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble. All of his local recommendations are perfect, please do try everyone of those out!

We had a fantastic stay, very nice view from the apartment. It was wonderfully quiet in the evening. Restaurants are conveniently close by, all within walking distance, as is the beach. The host is really very helpful and responded quickly. Thanks for a great stay!

Me and my family had an absolutely amazing stay at Spiros Villa. He and his mother were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We tried amazing corfuan dishes!

We stayed at Theo’s place with my parents, and we absolutely loved it! The apartment had a beautiful sea view—we could sit on the terrace and enjoy our morning coffee or evening chats. It had everything we needed, which made our stay very comfortable. It’s about a 15–20 minute walk to the nearest beach, Barbati. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it might be a bit challenging for people with mobility issues, as the area is quite hilly. The beach has pebbles, so it’s very clean. There’s also a bus stop about 5 minutes away, which takes you to Corfu town, and with just one transfer, you can reach the airport. The apartment was clean, and the hosts came midway through our stay to bring fresh towels. We were also welcomed with a bowl of fruit, which was a lovely touch. What was surprising is that the place doesn’t have a house number but you’ll get a hyperlink which is accurate though. I definitely think the place is worth the money, and we would happily stay there again.

We spent two weeks in the Villa Kortilles and found a house that is in sight of the sea in the rising mountains. The location in olive gardens conveys a comfortable rural idyll in complete tranquility. All technology works reliably and the facility gives a new impression. The architecture with many balconies is also impressive, and you can switch between the sunny and shady sides as needed. Stamatis is a lovely host. He constantly offers his help and conveys a sense of private involvement. The initial filling of the refrigerator was gratifying, and between spices, coffee powder, teas, shower and care products, and a sunshade, everything is really available. We enjoyed the holiday and recommend the host and house.

The place exceeded our expectations, it’s even better than the photos. Very clean, just a 10minute walk to the old town, and you can literally dive into the sea right across the street. There are also plenty of parking spots, as well as food and coffee nearby, which was super convenient.

The place we stayed at was something we could only dream of. A small house with an incredible view, together with an amazing pool. The house was very private. Victoria is a great host and person. All communication was very fast and polite. Might go again in the future

Very nice, clean and cute house in a lovely little village. Great for couples looking for something quiet and romantic, but also has buses several times a day to Corfu town and Agios Gordios beach. The host communicated well, was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommended!

The place is just beautiful! You can tell that it was furnished with a lot of love and is still very well taken care of. It was super clean and was also cleaned very thoroughly again during our stay. The hosts are also very friendly, have always inquired about us and have been quick to reach. The view of the sea and the location on the beach sweeten the day in the morning. We were super happy and will definitely come back!!

We loved our time at this villa. The host was very helpful and had a concierge available to assist as well. The property is clean and well maintained with everything you need. The location is perfect, just off the main road so it’s an easy drive to Corfu and other little towns. The restaurant next store, is good if you want a close spot for dinner or a drink. There is a water taxi that can be arranged from the dock at the restaurant as well.

Sofia is a wonderful and kind host, she welcomed us although we have made the booking in the last minute! The place is great, equipped with everything we needed, the coffee was a life saver 😊 It's minutes on foot to the old town, we have enjoyed it very much! thank you so much for your kindness and flexibility! and for the wonderful tips to get around the city😊

Christina's accommodation is in a perfect area, close to restaurants, shops and places to go out at night, but at the same time on a street that allows you to have peace of mind. In addition, Christina was an excellent host, always attentive to what we needed, to our questions and ready to offer us solutions. Finally, he was very thoughtful and kind to leave us coffee, sugar and a welcome gift. Highly recommended!

What a place !!! The apartment is as good as the photos , it is in a peaceful area but right on the edge of all the hustle and bustle . So you have the best of both worlds ! The views of Garitsa bay are amazing , I can’t imagine that there is anywhere in the area that has better views of the bay , especially from the roof top of the apartment building. Getting up early and having your breakfast there whilst the sun rises is something not to be missed . You are completely transported to a different world and it’s a great way to start the day ! Last but not least Xanthi the host is a lovely woman who is always on hand if you needed anything and was very accommodating with check out as we had a late flight . Her attention to detail around the apartment really helped to make our final 8 days in Corfu exactly what we needed !

Ioanna has a great apartment here! The location on the edge of the old town in the second row on Saroko Square is ideal for a tour in the evening, shopping in the morning for breakfast on the beautiful balcony, etc. The beds are comfortable with many different blankets and pillows, the kitchen is well equipped, hot water works perfectly. There are, apart from the guarded parking lots, also from time to time a free one in the neighborhood, we were there at the end of May and always found one. The buses depart from the square. Absolute recommendation for Corfu Town!

This is a lovely place to stay: bright and airy with a marvellous view out onto the sea. It's at the edge of the old town, so it's really quick and easy (especially with the help of your phone) to find your way around. The Faliraki beach is a five minute walk if you need a quick swim and there are plenty of nice places to eat all around. Apostolia could not have been more helpful with instructions, advice and recommendations. We had a wonderful holiday there.
