This lively village on Lake Veere is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, with opportunities for sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, or renting a sloop at Delta Marina. But there is also plenty to do on land! Walk or cycle along the extensive network of junctions, stroll through the charming shops in the center, and enjoy a delicious meal in one of the atmospheric restaurants. Discover the rich history at the Nicolaaskerk with its famous bell ‘Suzanne’ or admire the De Korenbloem windmill. Kortgene offers a versatile and relaxing experience for everyone. During the summer period from July 7 to August 29, the bicycle and foot ferry sails between Kortgene and Wolphaartsdijk, an ideal way to complete the Veerse Meer loop or shorten a bike ride. Many cyclists make the crossing to explore the surroundings of North and South Beveland, such as visiting the market in Goes or taking a trip through the Zak van Zuid-Beveland. A nice short route is from Kortgene to the Zandkreeksluis, with the bicycle ferry to Wolphaartsdijk and back. Dogs allowed, max. 2.

Welcome to our cozy little holiday apartment with the beach and sea 500 meters away! And close to bigger places like Middelburg and Domburg. Downstairs bathroom and dining facilities. Upstairs seating area and beds. Private shower, toilet, fridge, cooking facilities with oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle. With WiFi, TV and in the summer an air cooler. Deliciously soft water through the water softener. Tea and coffee are available; these may be consumed free of charge. Within walking distance are various shops, restaurants, a supermarket and a bakery. Crib and high chair available, this costs €10 per stay. (pay separately upon arrival). A staircase fence is installed upstairs. Check in from 2 p.m. Check out before 10:00 . Parking is free with us on the driveway. So no parking fees! Our price includes tourist tax. Our vacation home is close to the beach, 300 meters away. It is a detached and sunny house with a spacious garden around it. Ideal when you want a beach vacation with small children or are looking for the tranquility of nature with a few friends! In the pre- and post-season, wonderful beach walks, in the summer a fantastic and safe bathing beach. Close to the storm surge barrier and the Eastern Scheldt. Ideal for cycling! The Veerse Meer is on the other side of the dike, with plenty of opportunity for water sports.

Safari tent in the Zeeland nature

This "solo safari tent" is located in a sheltered place in the meadows surrounded by knot willows. At the bottom of an unpaved walking dike with a pond next to it. The horses and sheep come every now and then to see what you are doing, but that will not disturb your privacy. Luxury "camping" with the convenience of (green) electricity, hot and cold water, outdoor shower, good mattresses, campfire, small but complete kitchenette. The detached vacation home is located in a park in the dunes, right on the North Sea. The large garden is located on a small lake and invites you to grill at the large outdoor barbecue. The house is painted in shades of gray and white and is decorated with numerous works of art. Whether summer or winter, it is totally cozy. It offers an open fireplace in the living area and two terraces plus barbecue and handcart in the large garden. The swimming pool in the park can be used free of charge.

The cottage is separate from our own house and has its own entrance. You have access to a private toilet, shower and kitchen. In addition, you can open the French doors and relax on your own terrace or unwind in the hammock. Due to its location, this is a perfect base for walks and bike rides.

The house is on the outskirts of Kortgene in a beautiful green park close to the Veerse Meer. The car can be parked for free 50 meters from the cottage. Kortgene is a nice picturesque village with many amenities and nice eateries. The Veerse Meer is 5 minutes by bike, and the beach is 15 minutes by car.
