Rushing Reeds, Peace and Space. Birdsong, croaking frogs The visitor center "de Wieden" is within walking distance; Giethoorn and Blokzijl can be reached from here by eco-water liner! (from May to September) The cottage is less suitable for families with babies or when you are with 2 couples.

Here you are a farmer on an arable and livestock farm. The ultimate place for a few nights away from the hustle and bustle, where you have a cozy home at your disposal. You will experience the tranquility of the rural area, although you will hear and see the cows, chickens, pigs and machines. Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

The Nutcracker: cozy farmhouse front house

On one of the most beautiful rural roads just outside the village of Sint Jansklooster is the renovated humpback farm from 1667. We have furnished the front house of the farm as an attractive accommodation for 2 guests who are fond of peace and privacy. The comfortably furnished front house has its own entrance. You have access to 2 canoes and a men's and women's bicycle. The many cycling, hiking and canoeing routes allow you to experience the Weerribben-Wieden National Park in all seasons.

'Ons Stulpje' is a complete, separate appartment with a comfortable kingsize boxspring bed, rain shower and complete kitchen. The jacuzzi can be booked separately (€30 per 2 h timeslot). The (shared) pool can be used in Summer. Chickens roam freely. It is situated in the quiet countryside town Blankenham, close to tourist attractions like Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Steenwijk and National Park Weerribben-Wieden and Pantropica, Urk, and UNESCO Schokland. Breakfast can be added for €15 p.p. per day.

In the most beautiful part of Giethoorn, outside the busy tourist area, lies this unique vacation home in the middle of nature. With unobstructed views over the water. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (1x 2-person and 2x 1-person bed). There is another 5th bed (1 pers.) in the hall upstairs. We would like to know if you would like to use a sheet package (bedding & towels). Surcharge is €10.00 p.p. The renovated bathroom makes the cottage a luxurious place to enjoy the peace, space and nature.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up with a view of the dining room, a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their beds in front of the window every evening, and sometimes a sheep walking by... Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no Wi-Fi and no TV. There is, however, a large table for playing games together and a lovely sofa for drinking a glass of wine together. Make beautiful memories together! And extra fun: the first lambs are born at the beginning of October!
