Very generous hosts, there was bread, milk, wine, olive oil in the kitchen, shampoo and all sort of amenities in bathrooms plus a very detailed and informative guest guide. The place was immaculate clean and they have done the best to make it comfortable and functional. The roof terrace really makes the apartment with 360 degrees beautiful views of sea, mountains and the olive groves surrounding the village. However to reach the roof terrace there’s two flights of very steep steps. For us it was not a problem and we enjoyed every day. The weather allowed us to have all our meals in the terrace because the alternative would have been to be downstairs without any real windows with a view to the outside. From this terrace we watched the most beautiful scenes, we will always remember our neighbour, and his caring interaction with his goats, dog and chickens. Despite their presence we never heard any noise at night. Thank you Bev and Brian!

Highly recommend Jan’s gorgeous home. We witnessed some of our favorite sunsets here and the house itself is just a beauty. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen to cook up a great meal. It was also such a great location to a lot of areas we wanted to visit. Jan gave us a lot of recommendations and we ended up going to a few of the restaurants Jan sent us to! If you’re looking for a beautiful, private airbnb that is situated in a central place near all the beaches you’d likely go to, this is your spot!

This might be the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It almost felt like a shame to leave it to visit the beaches and restaurants that Manos and Sofi had recommended. There were just two of us but the house would be greatly suited to bigger groups. I would love to return again one day.

This place is the best place to stay, quite and private, outdoor patio for enjoy cafe or beer but close to great public beach with free parking or waking 20 minutes, same time remote spot to go anywhere and not staying in crazy busy city where is night live and traffic like crazy. 9 minutes to Agios Nikolas if you like that , 1.5 h to Vai beach where Palm trees like in tropical place, 30 minutes to Iropetra and Myrtos on African side on island, beautiful. 30 minutes to 4000 years olive tree and waterfall canyon.

We had an indescribably beautiful time in the windmill. The view and the garden are stunning. Everything is prepared with so much attention to detail. We lacked nothing. In the village you can eat very well. You're just comfortable. We are happy that we were allowed to be there. If you're looking for something special, highly recommend this place.

The Rustic Nook was such a lovely, unique place to stay. It felt like you were tucked away in a quaint cottage in the shire. Beyond the physical attractiveness of the home, Amanda was always just a text away. I felt that if an emergency were to arise, she would’ve been there in a moment’s notice. When it came to the Rustic Nook, she thought of everything and had a note or explanation available. We loved our stay and if we ever get the chance to come back to Crete, we hope to be able to stay at the Rustic Nook again!

We loved the central location of this Airbnb and the sea view. The front porch was delightful! Agios Nikolaos was a great place to relax in for a few days after a whirlwind cruise through 9 other islands. We were able to settle in and explore the town. It’s not as touristy as many other islands we saw, and we liked that! Felt like locals by the time we left. Just what we were looking for. We had a small rental car, stick shift, and found the hilly street parking slightly challenging, but we figured it out. Took a lovely drive to a Elounda, stunning views. Owner was very responsive to our occasional questions.

The accommodation offered a spectacular sea view, which made every morning a special experience. The apartment was modern and extremely clean, which immediately ensured well-being. I was particularly impressed by the helpfulness of the owner. At my request, the towels were promptly renewed, and when an unexpected sandstorm arose, he immediately took care of cleaning the accommodation. The location was ideal, with many restaurants and shops nearby. The beaches were breathtaking, and I enjoyed swimming in the crystal-clear water. The local Go providers were extremely helpful and gave me valuable tips that enriched my stay. Communication was straightforward, as they spoke fluent English. Overall, it was an unforgettable vacation that I can recommend to everyone.
