Beautiful house close to Jurkalne beach (10 to 15 min walk). The house is fully equipped and has a large living room to hang out. Perfect place for a group of people to spend relaxing holidays.

3-weeks holidays in a row, maybe it's a paradox but it could be exhausting, especially after a 2000 Km road trip in Finland. So, to get some rest during our holidays, we decided to go to Latvian countryside in Elina's farm house. Photos and description convinced us to spend two nights. It was obviously a great idea, Elina's place is the proper place to get some rest and reload our energy. Located at 40 km from Kuldiga, 5 km from Jurkalne, and about 500 m from baltic sea beaches, farm house is not sot far from cities but not so close too. If you're in a lazy mood, local pubs around can you provide food for lunch and dinner. Regarding farm interior and accommodation, it's exactly what we expected from an old farm house decoration. In a way, it's difficult sometimes to make a trendy interior with old furniture, but Elena made a perfect mix between vintage items and old ones. Elina is a great host, gentle and always a smile on her face. 3 words to end this comment : go for it !!

It's very comfortable summer house. it's very calm around the house. There is 4 separate beds, 2 of them is double, so house can host big family. highly recommend.

We were 3 days of 3 adult people in the iraid house. We found the place. The farmhouse has been renovated with all the comforts. In a beautiful, quiet area. Large kitchen, spacious rooms. Everything is clean and tidy. The 2nd floor windows offer lovely views, one on the pond where 5 swans had stayed, the other overlooking a spacious cereal field. Especially nice is early morning when the sun rises. The senses of different varieties were blooming in the garden, they were beautiful and sharky. The garden is also home to various varieties of fir trees. Both hosts are intelligent people who are not intrusive with neither kindness nor attention. Is very knowledgeable in the history of embracing and recommends pleasant places both to go and walk. Upon their recommendation, we looked at Kazdang and Valtaikai Church. Although we were only 3 days but had a good rest. It was a place where you can really relax and want to regenerate again.

We felt welcomed! Great place to relax with your family and friends. Enter the sauna to buy birch brooms, close to charming Labrags beach. Very comfortable and fast communication with the hosts. The cottage was on the territory of the host's house. The cottage was a neat, nice little 2 storey cottage. The kitchen had everything we needed (pan, kettle, plates, eating utensils). The bathroom is lovely. The double bed in the bedroom (2nd floor) did not have a double bed, but it was comfortable to bump the single beds together. The tub was about 10m from the cottage, it was very good. The sauna is located near the host's house, about 200m from the chalet. The sauna was authentic, quite a long time ago, and it was very pleasant for two people. Overall very nice getaway.

It was an amazing place to celebrate Christmas. The house is really big and spacious, it was cozy and warm. They even put a decorations, lights and Christmas tree, that was very thoughtful, we were surprised. The kitchen had all we need for 6 people. The surroundings are amazing, the forest arround and the fresh air and tranquility. Everything was amazing. Would like to come back on different time of the year 😊

The wonderful place, we recommend to visit! I would especially like to note the large fireplace, which makes the house cozy, and the friendly staff, ready to answer all questions. Magnificent views of the Venta River from the house and bathhouse, which we also managed to visit. We'll definitely be back!

Everything was good and the price matched what was offered. The apartment was warm and comfortable, with a perfect location next to the Old Town. Great parking spot right by the house.

Very beautiful place.

The place is great. The cabin itself is beautiful and very comfortable. There is everything you need for a nice stay. The hosts communicate very well, they were proactive and asked if we needed anything a couple of times and got us what we needed very quickly. The beach is 3 mins away by car and it's very beautiful, peaceful, not at all crowded. We were staying in the cabin from Thursday till Sunday and on Thursday and Friday evenings we very much enjoyed the peace and quiet this location provided. But on Saturday there was an event at the main building of the campsite, there was music playing for the bigger part of the night. This riverside cabin is a bit further from the main building, so it wasn't very loud, but we still could here it in our cabin. So if you're planning to stay during the weekend perhaps it's might be worth checking if there are any events planned in the main buildings. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place and hope to come back again!

The bed is very soft, I slept very well. Also in cold weather there were warm rooms. The indoor space matched the photos.

Andis also allowed us to visit with our dog which was very important to us. We appreciated that the apartment has done a very big job in renovating - wooden windows, floor, everything has been done so very carefully. The apartment had everything we needed - nothing occurred at all that might be missing. Sleep was very good.
