We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 1BHK villa on Mattu Beach, Udupi. The spacious property is clean, well-maintained, and offers private beach access. The peaceful surroundings made it a serene experience. One can easily spot peacocks in the surroundings that added charm to the place. The villa includes a living room, kitchen, bedroom, separate toilet and bathroom with all essentials provided, making our stay very convenient. Special thanks to our host, Vivek, who stayed in touch from the moment we booked. He guided us with the best route from Bangalore and recommended great seafood spots in Mangalore and Udupi. He even insisted we try the delicious Gajbaje Sundae at Naturals – a must-try! We arrived to a warm welcome with hot tea. The caretakers were lovely and served delicious breakfast daily. Their hospitality added to the charm of our stay. Overall, we had an amazing experience and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Udupi!

HOME AWAY FROM.HOME, Beautiful and serine place, just the place I hoped for and I throughly enjoyed it. Icing on the cake was the Home cooked food, The lady prepared the most authentic Fish curry and rice, the neer doosa and chicken curry I could have it anytime, infant we had it packed to carry home with us. The host was just a phone call call away, whatever we needed we got it, Thank you Mam.

We had a wonderful stay at Kaveri’s beach front property in Udupi. The location was dreamy—just steps from the sea, which made it perfect for our kids. Despite the summer heat, they had a blast by the coast! Kaveri was thoughtful and responsive, even while travelling. She shared all the details in advance and helped us plan our stay around our train timings, which was a big help since we didn’t use private transport. Her caretaker Sashi was nearby and connected us with a great auto driver who made local travel easy and affordable. We could cook, relax, and truly unwind. The cherry on top was her rare and generous discount for families with autism—something we deeply appreciated. Highly recommend for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Rima's place. The home is located in a peaceful locality just a kilometer from Kapu beach. Place is exactly as described and was clean and tidy on arrival. Our son had a great time playing in the ample open spaces. Rima's parents were warm and welcoming and served us decent breakfast during our stay. We were able to order meals by calling the restaurants since Zomato, Swiggy doesn't work here. There is a sense of calmness and peace in the home and surrounding areas. Loved it stay at Rima's place.

This place was a hidden gem. Location was absolutely perfect. It was across the beach which was clean unexplored and just a wide stretch of white sand ! The house was also sufficient, perfect for a large group. The pool was a good size, and added to the house. Ashok got us our supplies and made great homemade food. Also the restaurant Kaai at Nilaya stays had some great food. Only regret is we got to know about surfing lessons the night before we left ! So if you stay here please check at the reception at Nilaya stays and they will hook you up. We were on a week long road trip from Bangalore with 5 adults and 4 kids and everyone loved this place and location the best !

A quaint home tucked in the hinterland dales of paddy greens, this stay took us along pathways of tangy herbs, sour local berries, alongside the breezy lull of mango & coconut groves, ushering nostalgic memories of tiled roofs, wood-fired stoves, and malabar birds gliding in the skies. In this ethnic idyllic setting, we were greeted with generous smiles & great conversation. Highlights: kind & respectable grandpa's crispy & soft kappa rotti dosas off the piping hot clay pan; adorable grandma's treat to village lore and temple tales; brother Ganesh's travel experiences shared over sumptuous lunch and dinner coupled with the trek to the hilltop; the lady of the house's rare culinary specialities - herb & flower based gravy & chutney with organic brown rice; the gentle strumming of the ukulele into the night, happy cats lazing around on rugs in the day; piles of spiritual books from worldover; cups of desi chai on the terrace, and the heart and essence of Lord Krishna in the landscape.

We stayed at this place for 6 days, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The house is well-maintained and equipped with all the essential facilities, making it perfect for longer stays. The peaceful, lush green surroundings created a serene and relaxing atmosphere. One of the biggest highlights was the location—just a short distance from the beach, the Kemmunu hanging bridge, and the kayaking spot. The road leading to the beach was absolutely beautiful. A special mention goes to our host, Alwin uncle, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He not only made us feel welcome but also gave us great recommendations for local places to eat and visit. His hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and tranquil getaway.
