Stayed with this amazing family for the first part of my fieldwork in Tamale. Being a first-timer in the town, I felt right at home and extremely cared for. I didn’t think twice about extending my stay with them when my project extended. I’ll 100% recommend this place for anyone searching for a short or long term stay. If you’re an international student or professional needing a peaceful home away from home while you’re in Tamale, this is the place that you’re looking for.

The best stay so far on Airbnb, and I am not even exaggerating, never been cared so well like this from a host so far, I am grateful and had finally enjoyed some peace of mind

I stayed at James' for a month in August 2019 and it was great. James is an amazing host that since the beginning made me feel welcome and went out of his way to help me in anything he could. He showed me around Tamale and was always available. I was there because of work and being able to have fun in the evening made a big difference! The area where the house is is a very nice area with also very nice neighbours. Staying there made my stay very different and more authentic than if I had been in another place such as a hotel. Overall, James' hospitality and the location made me have an amazing and local experience that I would fully recommend. I made a new friend and felt home, and I will definitely go back!

The house is very big and the rooms are very nice. AC was working well and the Kirchen is very big and nice. The location is a bit outside the City, but therefore it was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much and I can recommend Rukis House very much. Also Ruki was very flexible in booking days which was very much appreciated. I am sure we will return one day.
