Very classic Japanese homestay, beautifully decorated.Although it is a bit far from the city center, it is in a residential area. When you walk from the B&B to the station, you can see other Japanese-style houses, which is very atmospheric.The price is actually about the same as the hotel in the city center, the main thing is the experience. The host Makoto is very nice, pick up and drop off for check-in and check-out, and will introduce the facilities around the homestay when you check in.We tried the Osakayaki he recommended, and it was quite delicious.There are also different activities every month, and if you catch up, you can join guests from different countries.

Good acomodation at uji. Traditional and simple room, clean bath room, lovely kitchen with a commplete stuff like coffee machine, green tea, genmaicha, water, etc. Something not comfort for me only about other guess at 2nd floor, they walk with a loud steps (maybe prepare to early morning checkout) until 3am. So i can’t have a good sleep.
