Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Kuopio

Very beautiful and cozy house nearby the lake at the end of the road. The interior is very lovely arranged and furnished and the view across the lake from the master bedroom ist simply stunning. You can row with a boat from your private dock. There is no disturbing noise from roads, because it is located at the end of a tight road. The hosts are simply perfect, very kind, always there for you, when questions arise (in our case even at night-time). There are also plenty possibilities for activities in Kuopio and the nature surrounding the beautiful city. We can only recommend a stay in this house for everyone, kids will enjoy it as well.

We just had a wonderful time here, we were accomodated on short notice, it is a very beautiful house and astonishing place by the lake!! I hope we can come back sometimes, wish you all the best

The house is located by a beautiful lake with its own beach and boat. The view is great, you can see the lake even from the living room :) The house is equipped with electrically heated shower + inside toilette (which is always a plus when it comes to mokkis) + sauna. It's a great place for those who want to relax in calm surroundings. 100% recommend, although it may seem like a far location, in reality it is quite easy to get there.

A great destination for a three-generation ski vacation. Things to do for everyone. Nice and peaceful, close to everything. We'll be back and hopefully have time to stay longer.

Functional and fast communication, as well as a clean cottage according to the descriptions and pictures, which felt like home.

The apartment was clean and matched the listing description, check-in was easy, and good instructions were provided in advance, communication with the owner went smoothly.

Very good accommodation, bigger apartment than in the photos. The sauna in the basement was well-stocked with -25 degrees Celsius, and Matti warmed us up one day with a wood sauna. It's a shame it was too cold to visit the national park. Definitely will be back!

A clean and clever apartment with everything you need, only the biowaste trash was missing. The apartment is great for a couple or small group. Smooth communication with the renter. I would come again.

Tidy and clean apartment. The new renovated bathroom was great and the sauna had a great steam! Bed made and instructions for everything you need. As a big plus, the car could warm up from the switch in the hallway when the car was connected to the lead! The fireplace gave us a nice vibe after the day of landing and the sauna 😎

This property is very special. The furnishings are lovingly designed, the property is very well maintained. There is the beautiful barbecue area by the lake, a spacious terrace and as a highlight a summer kitchen. The sauna has very good steam and we enjoyed swimming in the lake. Eija is an excellent host and we felt very welcome. We have been driving to Finland for over 30 years and have tested a number of mökkis, this is one of the best 🥰

Peaceful location and good sandy beach. Nearby, a short drive away, nice nature trails. I recommend for those who enjoy traditional cottages and nature!

We stayed 5 weeks in this incredible accommodation and if we could have stayed 5 more we would have 🤩 The photos don't do justice to the beauty of the place, which is even more beautiful in real life! It was a really good surprise The house is perfectly equipped, very comfortable and the cleaning was impeccable when we arrived 😊 We will miss the magnificent sunsets over the lake in the evening! This place was the absolute highlight of our trip to Finland! It's the most beautiful little island and everything was very clean and tidy. We really enjoyed it and would love to return one day.

Jukka and Maru's island is a gem! It's situated in a peaceful lake and offers a lot of privacy. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and in great condition. During the day we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, exercised on the pier, warmed up in the sauna and cooled down in the lake. We loved exploring the surroundings by kayak and canoe, and due to the islands relatively remote location, there is little light pollution. One of the most memorable experiences was rowing after midnight, gazing at the milky way above us and listening to the wolves howling in the background. Life really slows down on the island, time becomes irrelevant. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking peace in the beautiful Finnish nature. As hosts Jukka and Manu were warm, welcoming and very responsive. We immediately felt at home! They provided lots of great recommendations and were in touch even after a storm to check if we're alright. Kiitos for an unforgettable stay at your mökki! :)
