Admire lake views and listen to birdsong from the treetops. Enjoy barista style coffee, grab a book and simply relax and enjoy the views from the expansive deck. At night, why not barbecue with drinks on the deck or in the winter, enjoy the ambience of the warm fire!

This stylish and unique retreat space sets the stage for a memorable trip to a beautiful part of Lake Taupo. A small kitchenette to prepare light meals and snacks, plus a small, private cottage garden to enjoy native birds and trees. Taupo is 50 minutes drive from our home. We are in easy reach of some of NZ's' most stunning hikes. An Easy 35 minutes to Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro Crossing, plus local river walks, supermarket and eateries 10 mins. A modern studio style self-contained unit on the ground floor of our family home in Turangi. A queen-sized bed in the main room. Small kitchenette with crockery & cutlery supplied, small fridge, microwave, electric frying pan, Freeview Smart TV and Wifi. Modern private bathroom. An additional small bedroom with a single bed is perfect for a 3rd guest or more space to spread out. Close to major attractions of the area and ideal to access the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Private access to unit.

Tastefully renovated fully equipt house and new sleepout. Fully insulated with double glazed windows. Large bathroom, gas hot water and large kitchen/dining/family room opening onto a large deck for alfresco living. Warm and cosy in winter (heatpump), shade in summer with large flat section of lawn, garden and trees. Very close to river within walking distance across the bridge to Turangi shops. Carport attached to house for dry access. Quiet street adjacent to the Tongariro River and park

Semi detached sunny compact studio joined to main dwelling by deck located on our lifestyle section. Studio has a deck divided from the main dwelling by a screen for privacy. Private entrance/lock box. Kitchenette, continental breakfast provisions on first morning supplied - microwave available (no stove top or oven) . Samsung Smart TV (Freeview TVNZ+ etc), you will require your own subscription for streaming services. Off street park. You will need a car as there is no public transport.

Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.
