Villa Pihla is a well-equipped half of a twin cottage for 4 people in Ruka, 2 km from Rukakylä. Despite the proximity to Ruka, the location is quiet and offers the guest beautiful forest and mountain scenery. The main skiing, mountain biking and snowmobiling trails start 200m walking distance from the cottage. The rental price does not include final cleaning. As an additional service, you can buy linen and towels for 30 euros/person and final cleaning for 100 euros. The cottage is not suitable for people with animal allergies. Welcome!

In addition to the half 64.5 sqm of Kelopar house, a spacious loft of about 20 square meters, which makes the cottage size remarkably more spacious (see photos). The cottage is near Rukatunturi about five kilometers in the direction of Kuusamo, so it's perfect for those who appreciate the tranquility but those in need of Ruka services. Rukan Ski-Bus runs from the proximity/side of the cottage during the ski season. Attention! Seasonal Christmas, New Year and Weeks 8-15 rental only Saturday-Saturday. Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and roomy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a sauna + bathroom. The loft also has plenty of space and sleeping places. The cottage has all the modern comforts and the large windows open up to a magnificent lake landscape in two directions. Apart from downhill skiing and cross country skiing (the FIS Nordic Combined season kicks off in Ruka) there are numerous hiking trails, including the famous Karhunkierros (Bear's Round), crosscountry ski &snowmobile routes, biking routes, fishing, bird watching, bear watching and also ample time to enjoy a sauna and peaceful silence.

A nice atmosphere is created by an open fireplace, sauna, a terrace, and a forest landscape as a bonus.

During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
