Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. This year it is perhaps particularly attractive to be able to come to Bjørklund farm in connection with Norgesferie.

Experience the Northern Lights between Lofoten and Vesterålen

Charming place midway between Lofoten and Vesterålen. Access to a small boat with an engine makes it possible to go to the sea. The boat is in an old bullpen by the sea, and as my father and grandfather before us, we will have to drag the boat down to the sea and back again with pure muscle power. There is great nature, so both mountains, forests and the sea can be enjoyed. Now also from a new 25m ² terrace! The house is old, and somewhat worn, but works great as a holiday home for us. Welcome to Grunnvassbotn, 15 min by car from Harstad House with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom. The house is fully furnished and with basic goods. There is space for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children in the same bed. The house is beautifully located in scenic quiet surroundings, child-friendly area. Short distance to marked mountain trails. By the lake there is a swimming area and barbecue area. Here you can try your luck at fishing. Sun from morning to late evening summer time.

The cottage has a total of 2 bedrooms, the first bedroom can accommodate 4 people and the second bedroom can accommodate 2 people. It has a very well equipped kitchen, two living rooms, infrared sauna, full washroom with washing machine, a grill house. Free Wifi and Netflix available. 2 cctv, one is located in front of the cabin and second is located on the back of the cabin .

Situated close to both the sea and the mountains, the area offers loads of possible excursions. During winter you might see the northern lights just outside the door. And after a day out, you can enjoy your coffee watching the amazing scenes of the gateway to the famous Lofoten and Vesterålen area.

Several kilometers of forest roads for walking. In winter, we have created a suitable fire pit to enjoy the Northern Lights that often beautifully dances across the sky.
