Here you can start your mountain tour right outside the door, both in summer and winter. From the cabin it is 4 km to the car park at Spranget, and from there it is approx. 7 km to the DNT cabin Rondvassbu, the heart of Rondane. If you want to combine the mountain tour with a day of rafting in Sjoa, it is only a 30-minute drive from the cabin. The cabin can also be a base for those who like to fish in Lågen or in some of the many mountain waters in Rondane. From the "whiskey bench" or barbecue area at the cabin you have a lovely view of Jotunheimen to the west and Svinslåberget to the south. In the center of Otta you will find many grocery stores, restaurants and shops. The center of Otta is about a 20-minute drive from the cabin. Should you feel like being served a meal on the mountain, you can get it at Rondane Fjellstue, which is about 500 meters from the cabin. During the school holidays, there is also a small grocery store and a cafe in the center of Mysusæter 600 meters from the cabin. Opening times depend on the season, so check in advance if it is open, we recommend shopping at Otta. There is a road all the way through summer and winter. Parking is in a designated space 30 meters from the cabin. In winter, the road to the cabin is plowed on Fridays and Sundays, from 1 December until after Easter. It is also plowed during the Christmas holidays, New Year, winter holidays and Easter. If you arrive on a weekday and it has snowed since the last plowing, you can park for a fee in the car park at Mysusæter, and walk about 600 meters to the cabin. If the road is not open, transport by scooter can be ordered in advance from the Mysusæter service centre. The cabin has installed water, sewage and electricity. The cabin is partially heated all year round with heating cables in the bathroom and a panel oven in the living room. The cabin has a soapstone fireplace and a wood-burning stove, and we make sure it's wood available. In the main cabin, there are no separate bedrooms, but two sleeping alcoves. The alcoves are divided into a double bed alcove and in the other alcove there is a bunk bed. In addition, there is an annex with a family bunk with room for three. Bed linen/towels must be brought. Washing must be done by the guests. Smoking not allowed. Animals are most welcome, but not in the beds. There is running water in the bathroom, in the kitchen there is only a sink. From the parking lot, there is a small hill of about 20 meters to the cabin, manageable for everyone in normal condition, but if you have difficulty walking, you might need help. Guests must clean the cabin themselves, and there is a detailed description of how the cleaning should be done, so expect that this will take some time

Leilighet sentralt på Vinstra

En nyere leilighet med alt man trenger på Vinstra.Badekar, peisovn og velutstyrt kjøkken.Parkering ved huset, og gangavstand til sentrum og togstasjonen.God plass for et par nede i dobbelseng,sovesofaen i loftsstuen er bare 120 cm bred,så passer for 1-2 personer. Det er også en tresetersofa i loftsstua.Evt mulighet for å henge i hengekøya på balkongen i 2.etasje Tv uten ab, ligger hdmikabel klar om dere vil koble til pc. Sengetøy og håndklær koster 100kr pr pers,og blir betalt utenom hvis ønsket

Coolcation! Panoramic view - Rondane National Park

Nyt deilige dager i fjellet med en fantastisk utsikt over Rondane i nord og Jotunheimen i vest. Et perfekt utgangspunkt for turer hele året. Spenn på deg skiene rett utenfor hytteveggen, eller sett deg på sykkelen for milevis av turmuligheter. Vi har også en kano til fri bruk på Årvillingen i nærheten. Etter turen kan du slappe av i den deilig badstuen. Hytta er romslig, velholdt og inneholder alt du trenger for uforglemmelige dager i et av Norges flotteste fjellområdet i Rondane Nasjonalpark.

Koselig hyttetun med fjellutsikt

Slapp av sammen med hele familien på denne fredelige hytta. Rostøl er et sjarmerende hyttetun med tre hytter. Fra stuevinduet har du flott utsikt mot Rondane, med Veslesmeden og Storesmeden i horisonten. Ca 2,5 km videre innover langs vegen har du Furusjøen. Har kan man bade, fiske eller leie båt. Om sommeren er det et vel av turmuligheter, både for bena og sykkel. Mye opparbeidede stier og råk. På vinterstid har man skiløype et steinkast unna. Vi har ikke el-billader. Det finnes i Kvam.

Viking farm, Sygard Listad. King Olav stayed 1021.

Velkommen til Viking-gården Sygard Listad. Her bor du på historisk grunn. Viking-kongen Olav den Hellige bodde her i 1021, for å forberede slaget mot kongen i Gudbrandsdalen. Dette skjedde under kristninga av Norge. På gården finnes den hellige brønnen "Olavskilden". Kjøreavstand til Oslo er 250 km og det samme til Trondheim. Her kan du dra på ski i Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, nasjonalparken Jotunheimen eller Rondane. Om sommer kan du se Peer Gynt, moskus-safari eller dagstur til Geiranger.

Historical studio | Merino farm | Rondane | Family

In the middle of our merino sheep farm stands this characterful house. It features a cozy studio with a fireplace. The house is at 650 meters altitude in the mountains and has a beautiful view of the valley and the village of Kvam. You can enjoy hiking from here to a small waterfall, visit Rondane NP or help feed our merino sheep. This location is very suitable for guests with children. Guest from the studio can use the shared bathroom and toilet in our community house.

Koselig gårdshus

Enkelt og fredelig overnattingssted på gård med sentral beliggenhet kun 2km fra Otta sentrum. Huset ligger for seg selv på gården i landlige omgivelser. Her kan du slappe av og nyte solnedgangen fra både verandaen og sofaen. Huset har alle fasiliteteter og passer fint for par. I nærområdet finner man fine turalternativer og flere spennende aktiviteter. I Otta sentrum finner du blant annet Amfi kjøpesenter og delikatesse butikken Døkakjøtt.
