We had a very relaxing time at Sheree's place. A very peaceful area with a lovely view over a large gully. Lots of room and comfy beds, it's also close to the local shops and cafe's in Hepburn and only a five minutes drive to Daylesford. Highly recommended Mark and Zoe

Nigel's place was fantastic. Everything about the property was great. Very clean and everything worked perfectly. The view across the paddock was great and the kids had an amazing time exploring the property and trying to spot the kangaroos. We took our telescopes with us and the night star gazing was one of the best we've seen. Highly recommend.

Had a really enjoyable stay here! My favourite accomodation on this trip in fact across four different airbnbs. The house was in great shape, and the surroundings were beautiful with wild kangeroos hopping around. Cozy fireplace which made it enjoyable for stargazing. Couches and lounge areas were very comfortable to relax in. A good place to unwind for peace and serenity if you wish to be away from the bustling cities.

Our family had a truly wonderful and relaxing stay at Corlara. The house struck the perfect balance between feeling cosy and offering plenty of space for the eight of us - plus the dogs! Some of the standout features were: -Fantastic outdoor entertaining area with a pool, spa, kitchen, and fire pit -Well-equipped, open-plan kitchen indoors -Large dining table perfect for shared meals -Warm, inviting indoor fireplace -All the amenities we needed -Thoughtfully designed home clearly set up with guests in mind The surrounding bush block was great for short walks with the kids and dogs, and the property felt incredibly private. Despite the chilly winter weather, we ended each day soaking in the beautifully heated spa — a real highlight of the trip.

Jennifer and David’s house is a fabulous place to stay in Daylesford! The house itself is modern, clean, spacious, has excellent amenity, and special bonus features including pool, spa and sauna! Communication was easy, always prompt and informative. Will be back. Highly recommend!

We stayed with another couple and their young child and this house was perfect for our needs. The house is clean, spacious and really funky in its 1970s decor. We spent hours lounging and chatting on the comfy leather couches. If we were a little more courageous we would have braved an icy plunge in the pool and sauna - we will just have to come back in Summer instead. We cooked in the kitchen and had everything we needed. We walked to the shops each day (5 minute walk) and were spoilt for choice with cafes, restaurants and interesting shops. The record player and speakers in the ceiling were a hit. Jo was a helpful and super-responsive host and her house rules are very entertaining. An enormous amount of thought has gone into curating a true 1970s experience, where comfort, functionality and style are paramount. Before we left our friends insisted on a 1970s photo shoot! Highly recommend.

This is a lovely place to stay. It is styled beautifully, and was presented clean. It’s always a nice touch when the basics are in the fridge and the fire is primed to go. Mel was a very responsive host, and even gave us a great recommendation for a special takeaway night at Du Fermier. Thanks Mel, great spot.

Although attached to the main house the accommodation was extremely private and in a beautiful setting with lovely views. We didn’t get to enjoy the outside decks due to the rain but were extremely happy to laze near the cozy wood fire and use the luxurious bathtub. Everything was absolutely spotless, the bed was very comfy and the fresh eggs, yummy bread, wine & chocolates very much appreciated. Thank you Michelle for a very peaceful and relaxing weekend. Wow, this place is quite incredible - the photos do not do it justice. Every aspect has been thought out and creates an amazing warm and inviting space. You feel instantly relax as soon as you enter the gates into a perfectly manicured garden and then once you open the front doors you know you’re in for a treat. You won’t be disappointed by booking this home. We will all be back.

Enjoyed spending Mothers day here with my daughters, a roaring log fire for the cooler evenings and a beautiful sunrise over the lake to wake up to . A perfect spot to unwind. The home is very comfortable, spacious and has everything you need to enjoy meals at home. Well stocked pantry and herbs in the garden. A perfect place to unwind and a wonderful base to explore the surrounding areas. Hope to come back very soon.

A genuinely great stay. Doug clearly takes great pride in ensuring the house is prepared for a comfortable and enjoyable time. Walkable to the main strip at Woodend, the home is well laid out, well appointed and comfortable. Having stayed during winter, the central heating and wood fire made it a very cosy space to spend cold and wet nights. We would definitely stay with Doug on our next trip to Woodend.

This is a very comfortable small free-standing house, well-equipped, comfortable and warm, away from the traffic and just ten minutes' walk from Woodend's main street. It was ideal for our needs -- two couples who came for the Woodend festival -- because it was only one block away from the main festival venue.

A friend and I stayed at Yvonne & Darren’s for a relaxed weekend away from our families, and it was the perfect, cosy cool weather escape. Yvonne’s* countless thoughtful touches made us both feel very welcome and special, it was a bit like a treasure hunt as they revealed themselves one after another. Comfy beds, a hot shower, a game of Scrabble and warm drinks, it was a very easy house to just hang out in and enjoy. Not mentioned in the brochure is the beautiful pooch next door, he is magnificent and so friendly 😍 Thanks for a wonderful stay at lovely Leila! *I went out on a limb and assumed not Darren’s work ;) but if I’m wrong I stand corrected!

We had a wonderful time at Lilah's place. It was so clean and cosy and we felt right at home. Her place is beautiful and she makes it so welcoming with lots of local recommendations and fresh bread, milk and jam in the fridge as well as fully stocked coffee pods - all lovely touches which we were very grateful for! The house is a short walk from town where there's so much to do. We will definitely be back :))

This place was certainly one of the best we have stayed in. Beautifully styled, had everything we needed, wonderfully stocked and was a warm cosy home on a cold fresh morning. Staying at The Nest On The Hill was a delight. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and clean. Beautifully decorated & super comfy beds. Carmel was extremely responsive & friendly. My four old son didn’t want to leave 💛 Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of staying here for my partner’s birthday. The place was clean and beautifully presented. We especially loved the steam shower and the indoor jacuzzi. The hot tub water threw us off a little at first, but after the host explained it, it made sense. I feel the bed could be improved—I didn’t find the pillow and blanket as comfortable as I would’ve liked. On our first night, there was a blackout while we were showering, but thankfully the emergency line was helpful and the power came back quickly. We also really enjoyed the fireplace and had fun starting it ourselves, including the one outside. Note: there are no towel racks, so we moved the one from the room closer to the bathroom for convenience. Although the kitchen is quite small, we still managed to cook a simple steak and mash dinner. We also loved the toilet—it kept us warm, and we appreciated the air freshener spray, which most Airbnbs don’t have. All the little thoughtful touches didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you

After over a decade using Airbnb, possibly the best place I've stayed. The property is furnished so thoughtfully and aesthetically. Pascale has set up Little Wonky to welcome close friends or family rather than strangers. From the fantastic quality beds, pillows and linen to the dog beds and blankets, how spotlessly CRAZILY clean the place was, clear communication & meeting us on check in to walk through, lovely ceramic and earthenware, plenty of well placed comfy furniture, hangers and hooks, small vases of fresh cut flowers and herbs, a lovely bottle of wine, wide quality tea selection and everything neatly labelled - it just made our stay such a pleasure. We had great fun playing Indian Monopoly, flipping through the books and sitting on the verandah in the afternoon to enjoy the garden. Pascale made herself easily available and had a comprehensive A to Z list of places to visit on the table. One of those rare times our expectations were exceeded. Thank you for the warmth!

We had a wonderful escape for a couple of nights in a really peaceful and beautiful setting. While I could talk about how it matched its description, that the place was spotless, or that sitting in front of the fire felt so homely, there were a couple of things that stood out for me personally. Firstly, as someone who has managed to have tatami rooms in a few houses that I have lived in, and unfortunately doesn't have the space now, being able to sit on tatami and just chat was just lovely. Secondly, as someone who has spent many hours in sento in Japan, being able to sit on a stool and wash before hopping in a deep bath brought back wonderful memories. So all in all, a wonderful space with a really responsive host.

We stayed for a relaxing weekend getaway. Absolutely loved your house and the cozy fireplace was perfect for the chilly evenings. The kitchen was really well-equipped. Overall, it was a fantastic place and we'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for peaceful and quiet place around Mount Macedon area.
