[House Story] This house was born out of a childhood dream of living in a Nordic home.It all started with my longing for a cozy cabin and the tranquility of nature, like something out of a story. After living in Sweden and New Zealand, I returned to Japan and, together with my husband, Andy, took over a cottage that was scheduled to be demolished just one month later. My husband and I have carefully renovated this house, piece by piece, like a work of art, to create a space where the Nordic philosophy of connecting with nature and the beautiful natural surroundings of this location come together in harmony. 4 km to Lake Biwa There is a convenience store within walking distance A large supermarket is also a 10-minute drive away.
