Holiday rentals with a fireplace in La Barben

Five stars all around. Communication with Florence was excellent. We asked for a better Weber grill and a brand new one was provided immediately. House is full of character, village is charming. Bakery in the center of town has closed, but there is another bakery further down the road. Small grocery store in the center of town. Second floor (third floor North American) bedrooms could be an issue for those with mobility issues as the stone staircases are steep with only a rope to hang onto. Pulling out onto the road from the property requires assistance to make sure the way is clear. All in all, we would return in a heart beat.

The place is lovely, in front of the vineyard. Pascale was super helpful and we really enjoyed our week in Provence. Thank you for having us!

This was one of the best Airbnb stays we have ever had. The home and private grounds are wonderful reflections of the spirit and beauty of Provence. Where do we start? The beautiful decorations in the home, the well appointed bedrooms, kitchen, dining, and living room, and the large landscaped gardens with a well maintained pool, and the surrounding spaces with panoramic views of the valley. Stores and restaurants are a short walk away and Lacoste is a central location to explore nearby towns. Michel and Christine were gracious hosts who met us when we began and ended our stay and made us feel welcome to stay in their wonderful property. Thanks again for making our trip to Provence such a great experience.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful and all the amenities were perfect! Air conditioning throughout the entire house worked perfectly, the pool was such a pleasure to swim in, kitchen had everything we needed (including a bbq)! Véronique and Jean Paul were very responsive and friendly hosts! Could not recommend more highly!

fabulous place. oasis. refreshing cold pool. great views. got to use the bikes (the hill home is a killer be warned!) and eat al fresco most nights. great park for walking/running just 5 min away.

Magical!! Andy and Jess have an absolutely beautiful place that embodies what Airbnb is all about! The decor is well thought out and gorgeous with beautiful French antiques and comfy furniture. The yard was massive with a perfect swimming pool, big grassy area, and places to sit in the shade. We made dinner one evening and sat and chatted with our host which was probably one of our favorite nights. Andy was so warm and welcoming and gave us lots of tips for cute towns and markets. The animals were the happiest pets I’ve ever met and it was fun to hang out with the 2 sweet dogs and friendly cat. Can’t say enough good things about this property. You can feel the soul of it as soon as you enter and I only wish we’d had more time here on our trip through France. Thank you Andy and Jess for your hospitality!

A charming flat on a quiet and accessible street in beautiful Aix. Hosts were very friendly, responsive and helpful. The location was easy to find and a short walk to all the great locations of Aix. The flat is sunny and bright, with a historic church right out the window. You have everything you need in this flat, and no clutter of things you don’t need. Feels like you are living in Provence (if even for a short few days). Would stay again on what will sure to be a return trip to this amazing ville.

A beautiful apartment in the historic center of Aix. Super central location - close to shops and market squares. The apartment itself is a work of art. I’ve enjoyed it so much.

This was a fantastic AirBnB. Right in the city centre of Aix-en-Provence everything was walking distance. The place itself was very stylish and we felt right at home. The parking spot is also great, even though you have to walk 5 min to get there. We really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this AirBnB.

We had a delicious weekend at Annie & Jean-Louis! The setting is calm, bucolic, full of charm for those who appreciate an authentic and friendly place. We really appreciated the kindness and good advice of our hosts who know the area perfectly. The amenities of the place are perfect. I highly recommend this accommodation, ideally located in the heart of the Luberon.

Corinne’s home was incredibly cozy and a close walking distance to the main part of Gordes. We went out during the day and cooked and home and played pool at night with my two teenage kids. Perfect vacation location in the most idyllic part of Provence

By far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The location allowed us to checkout of our busy lives and enjoy a peaceful place. The views were amazing and truly beautiful. I would come back and stay again. The hosts were also very responsive and had helpful recommendations for the surrounding areas. 10/10!!

We felt right at home. Very comfortable, well-equipped, clean housing. You have a very nice and pleasant back garden to enjoy the surroundings. As a suggestion, it would be nice to have a chair or luggage rack in the bedrooms and a coat rack to hang coats or jackets and bags. The location is excellent for getting to know Provence. It is far from the urban center to walk but by car it is two minutes. Supermarkets (Carrefour, Intermarche), gas stations, restaurants, etc., are in the village. Very comfortable beds and pillows. There are radiators and AC. The bathroom has handrails, making it safer and more comfortable, as the bathtub is high.

A luxurious oasis in the middle of the Luberon. Within a 5-10 minutes drive are the stunning towns of Gordes, Joucas, Goult and Rousillon, with L'Isle sur la Sorgue about 15-20 mins away. The first four all have terrific boulangeries for the essential early morning croissants and coffee. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped for group dining, indoors or out. The pool is the centre attraction (although slightly on the cool side), with outdoor table tennis and darts also adding to the fun. Lots of beds and chairs around the pool to capture the sun from all angles. We've left with very special memories shared with friends and family. Thank you

The house is very nice inside and out. The amenities of the house provided are numerous and of quality. There were 8 of us, and everything is perfectly suited.

It's impossible to appreciate what a special house this is until you walk through the door. Every aspect of it is fascinating, beautiful and well conceived. Each of the five bedrooms have their own character and decoration and the design is beautiful. The kitchen is large and well stocked with equipment that made it easy to cook large meals. The garden is lovely and the pool has a clever cleaning system which we appreciated as we all had a swim. Lastly, the location is ideal being a short walk into town in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful villa in a stunning location! We had a wonderful week at Villa Beaurecueil. The villa is very well equipped and tastefully decorated with a lovely pool and outdoor area. The location is a stunning area and within short driving distance of nearby shops and Aix-En-Provence. Rachel and Alistair are lovely and helpful hosts. 100% recommend and we hope to return one day!

Caroline’s villa was perfect for our stay. It felt very rural, peaceful and private, yet situated in walking distance to the small town of Cadenet and centrally based to visit all the villages and towns in the Luberon. It was very hot for our stay in June, so we spent a lot of time in the lovely pool. Caroline was a perfect host, and wanted to make sure our stay went well, and was very quick to respond if we had a question or issue. We would have liked to stay longer!
