Holiday rentals with a fireplace in La Croix-Rousse, Lyon

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful, quiet and clean house. The garden and the terrace were such a delight. Being 5 min from the city centre (by bus that just stopped outside) with a view over Lyon and the Alps and Mt. Blanc, and experiencing the quietness of the countryside with hens in the garden is something not to be missed. We had fresh eggs every morning! The hosts, Sam and Louis, are wonderful and professional in every respect. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with cheese, charcuterie and wine after being shown around the house, which is beautifully furnished with a high-tech kitchen, sound system and electrical shutters. The house can be extended to the terrace with large sliding doors. At the end of our week, the hosts gave us a ride to the train station (Perrace). This house is an absolute jewel, and I recommend it highly. I will definitely choose Sam and Louis as hosts next time I go to Lyon!

Really comfortable house with lots of facilities. The pool was excellent and very clean. Barbecue and bread oven were good options in the garden. Nice sitting out area with fridge and ice maker .Walkable to two shopping areas with everything needed Including a good Sunday food market in Genas We managed without a car . Trip into the centre of Lyon took an hour via bus,tram and metro. The airport is only 10 minutes by taxi. Four double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms/ showers We were 5 adults and one child , ideal for 4 couples. Dining areas in kitchen , in the living area and also outside so lots of options. It is a family home but plenty of space for visitors belongings. Would highly recommend. Quite area , fields behind the house which give it a country feel despite the handiness of “town “shopping and transport links

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Logement très fonctionnel avec beaucoup d’équipements de cuisine et conforme aux photos, décoré avec goût. Le cadre est tranquille. Je recommande à 100% !

This location was peaceful, outside the city, and on convenient bus lines. We had a car because we had two children under 2 and that gave us flexibility, but loved the public transportation. The pool was clean and we used it a bit but weather was still a bit cool in late May. The outside eating table was fun and we also had a covered eating and cooking area which we used in the rain but didn’t cooking because we were home too late most evenings.

Très bel accueil, logement parfait pour un petit week-end au calme dans la région lyonnaise. On y retrouve tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison de Stéphanie, en famille. La maison est très agréable et pratique. Belle terrasse et piscine. Tout est prévu pour se sentir chez nous. Le RDC est adapté pour une personne à mobilité réduite. ( personne âgée avec canne et petit déambulateur) Nous avions les commerces à côté sans en avoir les désagréments. De beaux paysages.

Bonjour, le logement est parfait. Il est grand et bien divisé, propre et bien décoré. Il est situé dans un quartier calme mais à quelques rues à pied de la presqu’île et du Parc de la Tête d’Or. Stationnement disponibles facilement dans les rues avoisinantes. Près des épiceries et restaurants. Si je retourne à Lyon c’est chez Guillaume que j’habiterais! Hôte très facile à rejoindre et aidant. Merci! Séjour des plus wow!

I had a great stay here! The location is excellent; very close to shops, restaurants, and everything you might need. I felt comfortable and appreciated the overall value. The host was responsive to messages and made check-in smooth & easy. Would happily stay again—thank you!

We had a great time at Nicolas's home. It was a peaceful oasis while we explored Lyon. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was easy to walk to everything, including the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourviére and the beautiful Parc de la Tete d'Or. Nicolas was always responsive to our questions and gave clear instructions for arrival and departure. The 6 flights of stairs did give us some extra exercise, but the apartment space was worth the climb. There was a fair bit of street noise at night, but that may have been because of the stunning May weather that kept people out late at night

Loved this location, Jeremy was very helpful and easy to communicate with. One of the best apartments we have ever stayed in . Very close to retail and restaurants. Five stars

Probably the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed! Johan was very responsive with clear instructions, even for parking, and provided some great local recommendations! Would definitely stay here next time in Lyon!

Il soggiorno è stato piacevole. Posizione ottima, comunicazione con l’Host molto attiva e sicuramente casa in ordine. Consiglio solamente di aggiungere alcuni servizi per un soggiorno piacevole al 100%: un armadio nella camera bianca, poiché assente, degli asciugamani piccoli da poter utilizzare tutti i giorni e del sapone per le mani da mettere in bagno. L’unica critica che posso muovere è la grandezza del bagno in cui è presente il water: per una persona “sovrappeso” potrebbe essere problematico perché veramente molto stretto. Per il resto tutto ok, consigliato al 100%.

The apartment was very comfortable with great sheets and towels. A well appointed kitchen, comfy furniture . The location was easy to manage. We walked everywhere. Corrine is super kind and responded quickly to all of our needs! Highly recommend!

Nous avons passé un agréable et excellent séjour ! Le logement est conforme aux photos. Assez spacieux et propre, avec une literie impeccable. De plus, il est très bien situé, beaucoup de choses sont accessibles à pieds. Isabelle est une hôte très réactive. ☺️ Petit point négatif au niveau de l’isolation…on entend dehors et le soir il faisait chaud dans la chambre (durant notre séjours il faisait plus de 30 degrés à l’ombre). Mais à part cela, c’était parfait Je le recommande vivement !

Un endroit paisible, propre, moderne, des jeux et des livres en quantité! Tout confort, un véritable plaisir on y reviendra volontiers!

Such a wonderful house in a great location. Robin is an excellent host, very communicative and always helpful. This is their family home, not a minimalist second home used only for AirBnB purposes, but that makes it all the better. A property lovingly renovated into a peaceful and comfortable home. The photos don’t do it justice. Plenty of space for 7 adults and we all loved it. There is a small village 10 minutes walk away with a boulangerie and mini market with a fabulous farmers market on Sundays and Fridays throughout the summer. The public transport into Lyon is a bus and metro ride away and simple to navigate and cheap. We had great weather even at the end of September which meant the pool got a lot of use. 4 bedrooms were doubles and comfortable, the 5th has two singles in a bunk. Their cat stays while you are there and he is very friendly. Fully recommend staying there. (4 of 5 stars on cleaning because although it is very clean, some travellers prefer empty houses, but not us)

Notre séjour s'est déroulé à merveille. L'accueille s'est passé comme prévu, avec une certaine flexibilité quand à l'heure d'arrivée. Vincent est très réactif pour répondre à la moindre question sur le logement ou les conditions d'arrivée. Le logement était tel que décrit dans l'annonce, très agréable et propre. De grands espaces et une confiance totale des propriétaires. Les espaces intérieurs et extérieurs étaient très agréables. Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain, tout ce qu'il faut pour manger à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur et la piscine chauffée toujours à la bonne température pour agrémenter vos après-midi et soirée Le départ s'est très bien déroulé en la compagnie de Vincent, très sympathique. Quartier calme disposant néanmoins de commerces à proximité pour rendre votre séjour encore meilleur

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour : maison très agréable et très bien équipée, avec une magnifique vue, de très beaux couchers de soleil et une belle piscine toute neuve. La maison correspond bien aux photos et à la description données, et notre séjour a vraiment été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la localisation, à la fois très proche du centre de Lyon mais dans un cadre calme et verdoyant, très reposant et dépaysant pour les vacances, avec de belles balades à faire dans la région. L’accueil des parents de Marion à notre arrivée a été très sympathique et chaleureux, tout comme les contacts avec Marion et Renaud, notamment lors de notre départ. Merci pour les très gentilles attentions à notre arrivée et pour votre aide et votre disponibilité très appréciées pendant le séjour et même après notre départ (merci encore de nous avoir très gentiment signalé et envoyé un objet oublié). Je recommande très fortement, et reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

Tres jolie maison, adaptée pour couple ou famille. L'hôte est réactif et l'emplacement est calme.

I booked on behalf of a group of family and friends staying for a weekend. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. I dealt with Gregory who was always extremely responsive with questions before booking as well prior to our arrival and throughout our stay. Gregory was a delight to deal with and gave a very comprehensive tour of the villa showing us everything we needed to know for our stay. The villa was absolutely gorgeous and exactly like the photos. The pool and sunbeds was a real highlight for us. The entire outdoor area of the property has areas of both shade and sunshine all day long and is well equipped with furniture to enjoy it! We would highly recommend booking this property if you're looking for a relaxing break.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans la maison de Nathalie . La surface laisse beaucoup de place pour s'y sentir bien. Et surtout elle est très bien pensée. La piscine est bien agencée et la vue est exceptionnelle Nous avons eu de beaux couchés de soleil sur la terrasse en hauteur et ça, ça apporte un énorme plus au séjour. Le très gros bémol pour nous a été le ménage... Ayant l'habitude de partir dans ce genre de gîte, la prestation ménage n'était pas du tout à la hauteur de la qualité du reste des prestations de la maison. Énormément de toile d'araignée intérieur et extérieur (surtout dans les volets roulants) graisse sur le barbecue à notre arrivée (surprise pas du tout sympathique), gras sur les façade de cuisine, lave vaisselle non vidée en totalité etc... Pour 210€ à rajouter sur un séjour de 4 jours, on attend mieux. Ce point est réellement à revoir.

Un endroit magnifique, très propre et décoré avec beaucoup de goût ! On s’y sent tout de suite à l’aise. Tout est pensé dans les moindres détails, c’est vraiment un lieu où il fait bon séjourner. Je recommande vivement !
