Beachfront holiday rental in La Hague

The house right on the sea was overwhelmingly beautiful. Very tasteful and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped from A as Austernbrecher to Z as Zitronenpresse, everything there to cook extensively. Internet super fast ! Sufficient thought was given to sockets and strips to charge electronic devices comfortably. The pellet stove is easy to use and brings a cozy atmosphere when it storms and is cold outside. The surroundings are wonderful for hiking and cycling. Small supermarket in Quinéville. Other good shopping in Quettehou (also great organic shop!) An unforgettable vacation!

Pleasant and well-equipped gite. It felt good there. The sea a few steps away is a real plus. Tranquillity is total. During our stay the weather was very pleasant, so we took advantage of the good advice received during the welcome. It should be noted that the upstairs rooms are arranged in a row. However, there is a sofa bed on the ground floor. We are back in Maine and Loire, but already want to come back...

Great location, great host. Fast response to inquiries and the place has a full kitchen with all the things you may need. Location is fantastic. Will book again!

Beautiful, very clean house with garden in a pleasant and very quiet neighborhood with access to the beach on foot in 2 minutes. Clothilde was courteous and responsive during our exchanges.

We had a great weekend at Julie's. The house is charming and pleasant. The garden is beautifully maintained and offers a beautiful view from the veranda. The place is quiet and peaceful, the beach is close (walkable). I recommend!:)

In short, it was great. The view, the location and the incredibly wonderful sea in front of the door. The patio and living room were our favorite places. The garden was great for our dog and we loved sitting and eating here. We were even allowed to charge our electric car to continue. That was great and helpful. Next door lives a young couple permanently, which was no problem and it was very quiet. In a few places could be better cleaned (range hood) but basically it was clean and tidy. We will be happy to come back. This is a great place. Thanks

The place was true to the photos, close to the sea while being in a peaceful neighborhood. Due to a constraint on our organization we shifted our arrival schedule and Mathilde quickly adapted to us. The house is really warm, comfortable and very well decorated. We'll be happy to go back. The little extra: the little gourmet gift for the welcome. I sincerely recommend this house for a stay for both the place and the host!

Excellent host, great house with loads of space, kids loved the pool. Close to the marina,bars,restaurants and the beach.

We had a very nice family stay at Géraldine's place which is ideally located: we went to the beach on foot every day and we took full advantage of the access to the heated pool as well as the bar (yummy the waffles and ice cream), the children's playground and the educational farm at the nearby partner campsite. The sunny weather only enhanced the experience. The deckchairs and garden furniture on the terrace are a real plus! As well as the many toys made available for children. They had a great time, we felt like we were at home. Not to mention the large amount of dishes made available in the accommodation. Friendly and very pleasant stay!

Very nice boat both outside and inside, ideally moored in the immediate vicinity of essential amenities and free parking. It is very comfortable and well-equipped, nothing was missing. Rose is a particularly charming host, very welcoming and attentive. Her words, rich in local history including family history in line with the decoration and the documents she leaves us at our disposal are a great introduction to discovering Cherbourg and the surrounding area. To conclude: everything was perfect and as described!

Absolutely wonderful place. The house had everything a family would need and more. Situated 4 minutes from the sea side it is a perfect spot for those who enjoy evening walks on the beach. Heated pool was a luxury and when the weather was a bit cooler we made most of it. Plenty of places to explore all around. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a peaceful break. Great hosts, beautiful place, a home away from home.

We really enjoyed staying at Veronique's place. It was a cozy and a quaint, yet beautiful space with a nice scent/fragrance, and all of the items/amenities that we needed for our two-night stay near Omaha Beach. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with almost anything that you could need, from honey to jams and preserves. Veronique brings fresh croissants and bread to the room each day; the fridge was pre-stocked with orange juice, several varieties of milk, and yoghurt, as well as butters and ham and cheese, and eggs. We managed to not only eat a great breakfast each day but also to have lunch from the supplied bread and ham and butter. This went above and beyond our expectations - and it was a huge plus, because it is a rural area and a drive would be required to get to a bakery or to town. We also really enjoyed the bathrobes, the very comfortable bed, and the lovely linens on the bed. Everything was convenient and comfortable. The water pressure excellent and lots of hot water.

We had a great stay in this pleasant and very well-equipped mobile home. It is ideally located for discovering the landing beaches. The indoor and heated pool is lovely. Thanks again to Corinne for these little touches, delicious caramels from Isigny and a good bottle of cider. We'll be happy to go back to keep discovering this beautiful region.

We had a good stay in Barneville! The accommodation is completely in line with the description and photos, and is very well located. Everything is well thought out to welcome travelers, the game room and the pool are very appreciable (we enjoyed the pool with young children despite its depth). And above all, we thank Céline for her responsiveness and kindness!!

A practical, well-equipped and soberly decorated accommodation, ideally located on the port of Grandcamp, in a perfectly secure residence. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops and the beach...

The house in the dunes is beautifully located and at least as beautifully decorated. Everything is very clean and well cared for and Marion responds quickly and is helpful. You can walk into the dunes on the beach or relax in the pool or on a lounger in the sun. The only thing that was a little different than I thought is that the house is a little close to the public road. Not many people come by, but it is just a little less private. This would not prevent me from recommending this house and coming back again. It is also still very quiet and peaceful. Thank you Marion!

Being a family of 6 adults and 2 children of one and a half and two years old, we were delighted to have stayed with Anne. The view is really splendid from the living room and overlooks the beach, without overlooking neighbors. And the garden is large, well maintained and well equipped, which is very pleasant in good weather. The location is very quiet and there are public parking lots a few meters away that are very often available (for a stay in late May), which was very convenient for us, having come with 3 cars. The kitchen is also well equipped. The beds are generally comfortable (the small bedroom is below the others). Note that there are no child safety barriers at the stairs, but this did not bother us. And the toilets are located exclusively upstairs. Finally, Anne's welcome was warm and friendly. We recommend it without hesitation!

We had a great time at Sylvie's place. Jacques' welcome was very cordial, he gave us some advice on restaurants that have changed since our previous stay in the area. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, very clean and well-equipped. The bedding is also very comfortable and the provision of bed linen and towels is a plus! And the sea view from all the windows and the terrace is beautiful. Everything has been done to put us in absolute comfort! I would highly recommend it!

Aurélie's place is very well arranged, bright, spacious, tastefully furnished. Nothing is missing. The location in the heart of this small village of La Hague is perfect for hiking. Beaumont Hague is quickly accessible for larger shops. Aurélie is a very pleasant host, responsive and with good advice. We had a great time with the family.

I had read the reviews of previous guests and thought: hmm, a little exaggeration can't hurt, but you have to be moderate. Now that I am writing a review for Claire myself, I know that there was no exaggeration. Claire's hospitality and sincerity radiate from her smile, and the accommodation and location are simply excellent. One of the tips we got from Claire for a trip I would like to pass on: definitely go to the market in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue on Saturday! An hour there is also just 60 minutes, but time seems to run differently. And for Claire: luckily you forgot your glasses, otherwise we would have missed that wonderful moment together.
