For faster mobility, it is preferable to use Uber or your own car, although there is a minibus that goes directly to the center of Xochimilco, and passes through Mexico Xochimilco, where you can take the bus that goes along the Calzada de Tlalpan.

The stay at Tere and her mom's place was very quiet and pleasant. The room is spacious, comfortable, and well-lit and ventilated. The Ayuntamiento metrobus station is nearby and makes it easy to get around.

I honestly had no expectations coming to Mexico City. My hosts went above and beyond to ease my stay in their home. I felt at home right away. They were both warm, kind, generous to a fault with their time. Their home felt like home. Their willingness to speak English made me feel at home and welcomed straightaway. Their dog Yesca immediately warmed up to me, very quickly getting used to my presence in the home. I turned 55 whilst in Mexico. Carolina and Fernando made a meal to celebrate it. Being away from home in a foreign country was tough but they made sure I would always remember them for their kindness and generosity on my birthday. Carolina is a trained masseuse and I highly recommend a whole body session with her. Without hesitation I recommend staying with Carolina and Fernando in Mexico. I have made lifelong friends and would welcome them to visit if they are ever in the UK. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else if I returned to Mexico City. Truly memorable.
