Kid-friendly holiday rentals in La Paz

Our family of 4 (2 kids aged 8 and 10) stayed with Eneida and Bernardo for 7 nights, and could not have been happier with our choice. The house is wonderful, character home just outside the center of the neighbourhood of Sopocachi. Like most of La Paz, there are hills to be navigated, however we very much enjoyed walking to all destinations from the home. It is only about 20 minutes to the heart of the city. The house itself is very spacious, and seems like a rarity in terms of size. It is a shared space, however the owners go out of their way to ensure you have your privacy. They have an adorable dog named Blanca that checks in on you every day. We had more than enough space in the bedrooms to be comfortable, and their were plenty of warm blankets and space heaters to keep you warm during the chilly evenings. Absolutely the best part about the home is the hospitality of Eneida and Bernardo. From the moment we arrived they made us feel like part of their extended "family", providing fresh bread each morning and lots of recommendations on the surrounding area. We were lucky enough to be staying at the home while Bernardo's family was visiting, and were welcomed into their group without reservation. It was wonderful to sit by the fireplace and exchange stories during the evenings. We highly recommend staying with Eneida and Bernardo.

A lovely place away from central La Paz. Fabian and his mum are lovely hosts. The space is a good size for two people. There were a few issues that were resolved quickly. There are some lovely eateries within walking distance. The main shopping center is a 15 to 20 minute walk and about 10 Bolivianos by taxi or Uber. A vegetable and meat market is close by. We had a lovely three week stay.

La casa estuvo muy bonita y acogedora, un poco alejado de los lugares turísticos pero los taxis son económicos para poder desplazarse, la casa está con todo lo necesario para poder tener una buena estadía.

Mi estancia en Bolivia y la de mis amigos fue muy amena. La casa es muy bonita y tiene todas las comodidades que nos permitieron disfrutar nuestro viaje. Viviana y su suegro Luis son hosts muy amables, que siempre están al pendiente de cualquier situación o cosa que se necesite. Muy lindas personas.

This place is spectacular and is so close to the geen line. The nearby shops are lovely. It felt like I was in New York!! The view from the balcony of the garden is magical and the staff at the hotel made us feel safe. The staff is available around the clock. The breakfast is proivded at a discount and there is a huge selection of meats, pastries, stir fries, eggs, etc. to choose from. I will try to bring my family back to this magical location.

We had a lovely stay we Colibri Eco Lodge. The site is peaceful with fabulous views. The hut was basic but the photos were clear about this so there were no surprises. The shower had hot water and we were never cold at night. Breakfast was included and served by the friendly staff. We had planned on doing different day trips but ended up staying on site as it was so peaceful. We were there in October, so not a busy time. Unfortunately, we arrived Monday and left on Friday so not many places for dinner were open. However, Colibri serves dinner so we ate in three times and enjoyed it.

Excelente! Brayan una persona amigable, amable responde rápidamente. El departamento amplio, limpio organizado cuenta con todos los servicios básicos, muy limpio. La zona tranquila, segura, céntrica, cerca a comercios. Recomendamos ampliamente!!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Hugo war sehr schön. Zu Beginn hatten wir ein paar Anliegen, auf die Hugo direkt reagiert und korrigiert hat. Er war sehr bemüht! Die Fenster sind etwas undicht, was Kälte und Lärm verursacht, aber über eine vorhandene Heizung kann die Wärme selbstständig reguliert werden.

Miriam was a very responsive host, friendly, attentive to our needs. Also, she was clear on what was expected. The apartment was very cozy, beautiful, uncluttered, clean. It is lovable! We would stay there again.

Loved our stay here in La Paz. The apartment was perfect (although a little cold), it’s in great location, quiet yet close to a lot of restaurants etc - and most importantly Carlos was super helpful and friendly helping us organise a late check out. Highly recommend booking this place 😊

Excellent séjour, l'appartement est agréable avec tout le nécessaire pour s'y sentir bien. Terrasse agréable avec le soleil. Bien placé dans le quartier de Sopocachi. Très bon accueil de César et sa compagne, réactif et arrangeant.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in einer guten Lage, durch die Seilbahn gut an das Zentrum angebunden, die Ausstattung war wie beschrieben, Wohnung mit Heizung - Ideal für die kühleren Nächte in La Paz, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

My husband, baby and I moved to La Paz for work and we rented Ana and Rasmus’s apartment for one month and a half before moving to our definitive apartment. It was the perfect place to arrive in La Paz as it is very well located, near a good supermarket, a mall, restaurants and my office. However, it is not the best neighborhood for babies and children as it is a busy area and there are limit parks. For tourists it’s very well connected to touristic places and the downtown. Ana was great to communicate, very flexible to accommodate our needs and super responsive. The apartment is a little old but remodeled and well decorated which is difficult to find in La Paz and has heating system which is very important during the winter season. The spaces are exactly as the pictures show them, but the sun doesn’t enter the apartment much during the winter making it a little dark during the day. In general, I do recommend staying at this apartment, specially for short stays as a tourist!

Un excelente lugar con la ubicación ideal, cercano a muchos comercios, y la anfitriona se porto muy atenta con nosotros, sin duda un lugar para regresar siempre.

Gute Lage und ruhig. Viele Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten. Gerne wieder.

We stayed at Soraya‘s place for two weeks and it was really good. Soraya is a very nice host and very helpful and the view from the apartment is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay there.

La ubicación es ideal, tienes todo alrededor: transporte público, tiendas, restaurantes, etc. Además cuenta con seguridad de día y de noche lo cual es muy importante. El departamento es caliente y espacioso con todas las comodidades. Y una de las cosas más maravillosas son las vistas. No importa en cual de los cuartos estés, que cuentas con unas imágenes de La Paz de ensueño. La comunicación con Veronica desde un principio fue muy cordial, amigable, y ella siempre estuvo lista para colaborar con cualquier consulta. 100% recomendaciones! Si lo que quieres es tener una buena experiencia en La Paz, este es lugar! Gracias por todo Vero!

Superbe appartement très bien situé dans La Paz ! Il est dans la tour qui a été longtemps la plus haute de Bolivie, la déco de l’appart est atypique mais très agréable. L’appartement est très lumineux et super bien équipé. Nous le recommandons à 100%, nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous retournons à La Paz à la fin de notre voyage dans ce même logement. La communication est très facile, fluide et l’hôte est flexible pour les horaires d’arrivée et de départ.

Eduardo muy amable, nos permitió hacer el Check in antes de tiempo, estuvo atento a nuestras consultas y la cocina muy completa, hasta hielo en la nevera nos dejó 😁, Eduardo y su madre fueron muy gentiles.
