Holiday rentals with lake access in La Réunion

Catherine was a remarkable host; she was considerate, available and very friendly. The house is very beautiful, tastefully decorated and very well-equipped. It is located at the exit of a very quiet village with a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. Everything was perfectly clean when we arrived (dishes, kitchen, bathrooms, etc.). We had a very pleasant weekend as a family (7 adults, 4 teenagers and a child) with space for everyone. I recommend without hesitation. Thank you Catherine ;-)

Charming cottage in a bucolic green setting. Pleasant walk after dinner in the evening, from the cottage, to Lake Lourbet, Friday morning market in Sainte-Livrade-Sur-Lot, and Terra Aventura (circuits with caches) very nice in Saint Pastour and also Gontaud-de-Nogaret. On site, the petanque court and the swimming pool are a real plus. This cottage is ideal for a cousinade of 11 people.

Excellent stay in this quiet haven of peace. The views are beautiful, the amenities for children much appreciated (bed umbrella, trampoline and toys). The living room is spacious, well appointed and tastefully decorated. Other amenities also appreciated: ping pong table, bikes, barbecue, etc. We'll be happy to go back!

Elisabeth is a wonderful host and made our stay very special. The gite is lovely and cozy and placed in a private location surrounded by rural landscape and beautiful bastide towns

Accommodation in a peaceful environment. All instructions were clear, including those for video equipment. We found on the table a basket containing all the essentials for breakfast. As well as a small chilled champagne. We had a great time.

Super responsive, very accommodating and flexible host. The place was very clean and really functional. The bedding was of very good quality. In the hyper center. Easy to access and easy to park. Very quiet despite the location. We'll be happy to go back!

Lovely place, quiet and peaceful. We were very well hosted by the owner. The accommodation is impeccable and very well decorated and equipped. Our kids really enjoyed the dorm. We will come back when the horses are there!

Rustic yet functional house. We stayed there for 1 week with 4 adults and 4 children and everything was perfect. Tranquility, terrace, swimming pool, and petanque court at the top. We would highly recommend it.

A very pleasant and quiet environment for this rental, in the heart of the south Gironde countryside. Pretty town of Bazas, and its market, 10 minutes away. Ciron Valley, beautiful river that calls for swimming and canoeing, 5 mins away. The cottage is well equipped and nicely decorated. A beautiful place to decompress and enjoy the surrounding nature. We spent almost three months at Christine's place while waiting for our new house and it was perfect. Christine is an exceptionally helpful and professional host. The gîte was spotless and well equipped and Christine gave us a very thorough induction. She was always on hand if we needed anything and on the few occasions when something needed fixing she was very prompt to act. The gîte is surrounded by beautiful countryside and we enjoyed finding different walks for our dog. There are no shops within walking distance but Clairac is a short drive away with a shops and a bakery plus an excellent Friday night pizza van. Thank you for having us Christine!

Greg and Carly were brilliant hosts, they provided useful information about the area, we followed almost all of their recommendations. They brought fishing gear and expertise, bikes and cycle routes. They also provided welcome drinks and local produce to get our holiday off to a good start. The house was great - spotless and comfortable for our group of 12- plenty of outside space for eating and socialising, and a lovely pool. All 3 kitchens were really well equipped- such a joy to have a dishwasher and washing machine! The river is great for fishing and swimming- not at the same time! . We could not fault the peaceful location and felt really safe there. The shops and ‘real life’ were only 10 minutes away in any direction, but could successfully be avoided. The night markets at Pujols and Cassenaud were lovely, and the local wine was great. We would come back tomorrow, thank you both x
