Holiday rentals with a fire pit in La Veleta

We had such a great stay at Aurelia’s place! The apartment was super clean and modern, and it’s located in a really nice complex that has a cenote and a rooftop pool. It’s also within walking distance to lots of restaurants and only about 10 minutes from the main hotel zone. The place was so nice we honestly didn’t want to leave. We’d definitely recommend both the apartment and Aurelia as a host!

We went as a group of couples to Tulum. We were looking for a place with multiple bathrooms in the bedrooms and at least 3 bedrooms and a pool. This was the place! It was so well kept by the cleaning and maintenance crew. It had awesome rooms for each couple that came with us. It was a fantastic place for us to be together and have a nice relaxing week. The host was so responsive and helpful with advice on how to get around and where to go. (There isn’t uber or indriver or public transportation here-so you need to rent a car or contact the Airbnb host to set up taxis) Overall it was a perfect space at the right price to use as a base for our adventures. The only downside to this home is the location. We had trouble finding it because it didn’t exist on some maps. It is literally out in the jungle away from everything. There are a bunch of homes being built around it but nobody living there as of June 2025.

The space is beautiful. Serene atmosphere. Very private, very spacious, light filled, conveniently located. Could not recommend booking Casa Manati more. It's even better than the photos !

Amazing place to stay. Orlando is a great co-host and was able to help us with anything we wanted. Absolutely recommend booking chefs for breakfast or dinner. Looking forward to going back soon!

Our overall stay was great. The host and co-host were always responsive, helpful, and accommodating to our needs. The property was beautiful and spacious — perfect for a group trip. We especially appreciated the support when unexpected issues came up, as the host communicated clearly and worked to resolve things quickly. There were a few challenges during our stay, but the team handled them professionally and with care. We left with great memories and would definitely consider staying at one of their properties again. Super beautiful and would recommend.

Beautiful house in quite location. Has everything you need. Access road terrible but as advertised. When decided to sportem our stay Emmanuel was very kind to refund. Really appreciated.

We had a great stay. The property was spacious with lots of enclosed yard space around the pool that was great for our kids, and having the separate guest house was really nice. The location was also great, just one block from great restaurants and shops. Short drive to the beach and cenotes as well.

Ari/Hector have been wonderful hosts! They checked on me and made sure I felt right at home. Their level of service is top-notch, so much that I wish all hosts were like them. They take really good care and of their guests! I loved the view from the apartment and I watch the sunset from the room almost everyday- it was just stunning! The place was comfortable and the top-to-bottom glass wall overlooking the pool makes it even more endearing. Would love to stay with you again in the near future! Très bel appartement, propre et fonctionnel pour quelques jours à Tulum, avec des communs plaisants. Je recommande vivement !

Helt nybyggd lägenhet, så allt var i yttersta toppskick. Egen balkong med bubbelpool och en större pool och gym på gemensamma takterassen - fantastisk! Vår värd var väldigt hjälpsam när hon mötte oss vid ankomst. Hon gav många lokala rekommendationer och berättade om staden och omgivningen - supertrevlig! Lägenheten ligger en bit från stadskärnan och stranden, så tips är att hyra cyklar för att ta sig runt. Taxi är förhållandevis dyrt i Tulum (finns ingen Uber). Med cykel tog vi oss ned till stranden och city på ca 20 min.

This was one of the most lovely and relaxing places I have stayed in a while. It's beautiful inside and the pool area is great too. The owners were very communicative and kind. It is a tad on the outskirts of town, so we were glad we had a car rental. Overall, a great stay for a great price. 🙂

I loved this apartment! The design is lovely and fitted out well. The swimming pool is literally 3m from the terrace which also has its own private jacuzzi. The roof top pool is also great. The location in La Veleta is perfect and there are some great coffee shops and restaurants in close walking distance. The host was great and replied to me pretty much immediately. Highly recommend!

Nous avons passé 4 jours dans ce merveilleux loft, tout était parfait. La déco du loft incroyable, la piscine très bien entretenue. Et le restaurant du complexe propre des déjeuner incroyablement bon. Vraiment super rapport / qualité prix. Nous avons adoré séjourner dans ce loft Merci pour tout !

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour à Tulum ! L’appartement correspondait parfaitement à la description et était situé dans un quartier très calme, en pleine jungle, ce qui ajoutait une touche dépaysante à notre expérience. Il est vrai qu’il y a peu de commerces et restaurants à proximité, et les vélos n’étaient malheureusement pas utilisables à notre arrivée. Nous avons donc dû louer un scooter pour nous déplacer. Mais Fernanda a été incroyablement réactive et attentionnée : elle nous a immédiatement commandé deux nouveaux vélos, que nous avons reçus à la fin de notre séjour et avons pu essayer. Sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse ont vraiment fait la différence. Nous avons adoré séjourner dans son appartement et le recommandons sans hésitation !

After driving through the chaotic hotel zone along the beach, arriving at Lakin-Ha Eco-Lodging feels like stepping into paradise. Book while you can - this place is a hidden gem! You’ll be blissfully disconnected from the outside world (at least until 6:30 p.m. when the electricity kicks in), surrounded by stunning nature. Jeronimo, the owner, and Jorge, the manager, go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Tip 1: Jorge makes the best ceviche in town - don’t miss it for lunch! Tip 2: Stock up on snacks, and drinks before you arrive. Tip 3: At the entrance to the Reserva de la Biósfera Sian Ka'an, let them know you're a guest, not just a visitor - you might get a discount! Honestly, they don’t deserve any entrance fee at all, as the more remote parts of the reserve are completely neglected - but you’ll see for yourself! In any case, I look forward to coming back as soon as possible! Thank you so much!!

Jungle tree house stay - 5 days. Exceptional team - Saul, Karla and Vincente made it feel like staying with friends. Incredible off the grid location. Bring bug spray. You need a 4x4 (no joke) and you want to navigate from Chemuyil, NOT Dos Ojos. But this place is an incredible experience, away from (but close enough to) the now tourist traps of TULUM and AKUMAL. One night just won't do it justice. City dwellers be aware: the tree frogs are really loud at night and you want to keep the mosquito netting firmly closed at all times but it's incredible watching fireflies flash outside the netting as you drop off to sleep. If you have particular dietary needs, let them know in advance - there is no restaurant onsite, just what's being cooked for dinner that evening. As a pescatarian, I was lucky enough to have tilapia and mash on my arrival but chose to drive into town or farther for the rest of my stay. I travelled solo and loved it.

Patrico’s eco retreat was the perfect spiritual get away. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the perfect place to reflect and reconnect with nature. The toilets are compost, the showers draw water from the underground river, and electricity is solar panel powered so the entire retreat is self sustainable. If you’re truly a nature person and find beauty in simple living you will appreciate this stay.

Pristine location on a private beach, perfect for recharging. We felt very safe with groundskeepers on site and a locked gate. The only negative was the accessibility. You MUST have a lifted vehicle to get to the house otherwise you risk damaging your vehicle or getting stuck. There is an 8 mile dirt road with elephant-sized potholes and sharp, several feet high bumps from old washouts. The 8 miles took 90+ minutes to complete. Overall, this trip was absolutely worth it. The host and groundskeepers were responsive. Would absolutely go back.

We loved our stay here! It’s very close to the Coba ruins, tulum ruins and the beaches. The house is big and cosy and is located in a quiet area, which we loved. Would come back if we’re around tulum. Thank you Hiram for the warm welcome!

It was a bit difficult for us to get there since we didn’t have a car, but Valentin made sure to make it easier for us. The experience was very good, and he cooks deliciously, would definitely go back again!

Bug Warning!!! If you aren't comfortable with giant bugs, this is NOT the place for you!!! Otherwise, absolutely wonderful place. Beautiful and unique tree house kind of setting in the Jungle. Nice pool, although we did not use because we were scared of the bugs hahaha. Nice kitchen, we did use it and it was great for making dinner. Gas range! Has two refrigerators, one large and one small. Plenty of space for food despite off grid setting. We only plugged in the small one to save energy. Nice book of information in Spanish & English, including local recommendations, et cetera. That would have been nice at the other places we stayed. Overall great experience, super clean comfortable bed, nice shower, just wanted to note that the bugs are very different than in America!!! :) Thanks for hosting us!
