Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Labastide-de-Virac

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

A stay on the edge of perfection. Beautiful house, very pleasant, faithful to its description and allowing relaxation, relaxation and rest. In addition, the owner knows how to be present with responsiveness when needed, and to be more discreet. Which, for me, is both valuable and reassuring. I highly recommend it.

We had a great stay at the magnanerie du Monteil. The place is quiet and charming. We were able to benefit from Lydie's many tips on activities (hiking, canoeing, swimming in rivers, visiting charming villages, lunch in good restaurants). A perfect stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay, a perfect location to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. It was a nice surprise to find so many animals: a horse, super cute dogs and a cat. The garden is beautiful, you can walk around, go down to the river, enjoy quietness and pure nature all around. The road to the location is also very nice - like a hidden path through nature. It’s definitely a place to come back to, with an amazing energy. Even two nights restore you fully and feels like you stayed much longer than this. Not to mention a stylish and tastefully decorated house. You can find all you need. Amazing both side terraces - to enjoy a morning sun and a sunset.

Very welcoming, friendly and attentive hosts. Nelson, an adorable golden retriever. The pool is really a plus. Very quiet and very cozy place. The sharing platter they offer is a treat, as well as the homemade olive oil. We recommend this address. We'll be back.

A dream week in the heart of the Ardèche in the beautiful house of Anneke and Dominique. Very warm and attentive hosting. A very nice studio with a beautiful view and access to the beautiful terrace. Olympian calm. Great walks to do in the surroundings: a walker's paradise! An unforgettable stay!

It was just great! The hosts were very friendly, helpful, gave good tips and always responded very quickly to inquiries. The whole apartment was lovingly furnished and very clean. The amenities left nothing to be desired for us. The dinner offered with several courses was great. At the pool, there is a deck chair, bathrobe and bath towel for each guest. Guests can help themselves at the small bar. The huge garden offers many beautiful places to discover. Cool, there's even a charging station for electric cars. Excellent two week stay in Olivier’s lovely apartment. Beautifully renovated to give a great mix of modern and character. The stone walls are beautiful. Overall very spacious - two large bedrooms and two lovely bathrooms. Kitchen dining area enormous. Jacuzzi and roof terrace a bonus. There are lots of stairs as noted but very manageable. There is great safe and accessible bike storage and riding from the front door fabulous. Oliver was very responsive both before and after booking and check in. On request supplied us with a filter coffee machine. Barjac is a charming village close to the Ardeche and Cèze rivers for all manner of outdoor activities. Overall a fabulous stay, well recommended. Beautiful apartment in a quiet village like a museum. We were glad not to be accommodated in the bustling Vallon Pont d'arc. Bakery, great little grocery store and a nice restaurant within walking distance. Communication with Sandrine worked out excellently.

Marine’s apartment is lovely—comfortable, spacious, well equipped, and clean. Both the living room and bedroom open onto 3rd floor balcony which looks down on the cobblestone lane and canal is a wonderful spot. It’s about a 1km walk to the Palais des Papes, but there are restaurants very close by on Rue des Tenteuriers, which also features an artisanal brewing place. You’ll have to arrange to meet Karine (or her friend who welcomed me) outside the locked front gate to get initial access and keys.

Had a great short stay!

Nathalie’s place is a gem in Provence. Walking distance to Avignon old town and within reach of all things needed from restaurants to places of interest. We had an infant and the apartment suited him in terms of crawl space and crib area. The parking in the building was super convenient to have a car and explore Provence. Nathalie was super flexible with a late night check-in and even helped me retrieve socks after I had checked out. Overall definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Provence/Marseille area.

Béatrice is lovely and helpful. Friendly and welcoming to us and very kind with my dog. We had a relaxing and happy week here. The big pool is absolutely fantastic and the area around is private, spacious, practical and so very welcoming to enjoy. Swimming in the evening too with the trees around and the moon shining was just wonderful! Secure to park your car - everything feels safe and peaceful. We were so fortunate to be able to get this week as it’s booked up now for all of summer - definetly recommend! Thank you for our stay :)

What a stunning apartment in a perfect position within historic Uzès. The apartment itself oozes character and charm and it was spotlessly clean, clearly well managed and with everything that was required for our stay. Madame Cala was flexible with our arrival time for which we are grateful and she was just a phone call/text away had we needed anything (which we didn’t). We enjoyed many hours wandering the medieval streets of Uzès as well as exploring further afield within the Occitanie region which is stunning. We are so glad we found this beautiful place to stay and would highly recommend this apartment and Madame Cala.

We were very satisfied - less than 5 minutes' walk to the Place d'Herbes. Everything is clean, tasteful and functional. I'd come back anytime, price ok compared to other accommodations.

We are delighted with our stay. Easy to access, self check-in, accommodating and very clear explanations. Lots of good tips for nearby restaurants. The space was as photographed and very clean.
