I couldn’t have chosen a better place—or better hosts. Slyde, and especially Frederic, were more than just welcoming; they took the time to show me around and introduced me to wonderful people. I gained a lot of perspective both in art and life by having a lovely conversation with them. Aulnay-sous-Bois is a quiet yet vibrant and well-connected community, and the hosts represented the town perfectly. The room was cozy, and the house itself is filled with remarkable works of art. And as lovely as it was, it was also convenient—just a 3–5 minute walk to patisseries and grocery stores, another few minutes to the train station, and only 20–30 minutes from the heart of Paris. It was a beautiful experience—one that made it easy to call this place home, even if only for a few days.

An absolute delight to stay in Carole's art-filled and art-infused space. Amazing location, clean and comfortable. Carole was wonderfully helpful and flexible with checking in and out of the space. Although I only made a fleeting one night stay, top of my list for a return visit! Highly recommend.

I had a great stay at Marie Charlie’s place. The apartment is located in a very chsrming neighborhood. I liked both the location and the house itself; it felt comfortable and welcoming. Communication with Marie Charlie was excellent. One thing to note for future guests: the apartment is on the third floor and there’s no elevator. It wasn’t a big problem, but it was a bit of a challenge with my large suitcase. I managed just fine and it didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed the stay.

Great place to stay for a week in Paris. The price is quite reasonable, especially considering that for this money you’re essentially getting a separate apartment with your own entrance hall, bathroom, and the only chance of crossing paths with the host is in the kitchen. The place isn’t brand new, but it’s furnished with love and feels very cozy. Everything was perfectly clean when I arrived. Maryse is a wonderful host—very friendly, always ready to help with any local quirks, responsive, and always available. Public transportation is within walking distance, and you can get to the city center pretty quickly. The neighborhood is quiet. For a week or two of vacation in Paris, this is an ideal option.
