15th Century Village house perched on top of a hill with beautiful views. A south facing terrace looking to the Petit Luberon mountains. A complete renovation provides all modern day comforts and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy after a day in Provence. The village of Menerbes (A Year in Provence - Peter Mayle) has mostly local villagers living here. Beautiful walks and cycling are popular pastimes. This is one of 3 available cottages to rent in the wonderful grounds of Chateau St Victor la Coste. It is the largest and most beautiful with one enormous double bed, but can add a futon on the floor or cot for a small child . It has a bathroom with tub and hand held shower . It shares the salon and kitchen .with the other 2 cottages’. Each cottage has its own fridge in the newly renovated kitchen The Chateau is in the classified old village and walking distance to shops and restaurant.
