Nice to place to stay in dalhousie and the owner is very friendly and helpful.

Great location and view from the room. The hostess was very friendly and served us home cooked meal on the first day to help us get acclimatized to the high altitude. Felt like at home, will definitely recommend for a stay.

The room and the washroom was nice and clean . Only the kitchen facilities was not up to date. Overall it was good.

Shaukat and Rafeeq both are extremely helpful and took great care of us. They not only make our stay comfortable and welcoming but also suggested places to visit and good places to try food. Rafeeq is an amazing guy always available on call and in person taking care of all the requirements from small to big ones. Great experience visiting them in Leh, no need to think about stay and being stressed free all the time.

I came for two days but stayed for a month. The father picked me up from the airport with a sign, and I felt at home from the moment I arrived. They gave good tips for exploring Leh, and drove me to Thiksey monastery where I stayed a week. I was also able to leave some of my things to their home when I went there. Also I ate dinner with the family every night, delicious home cooked dishes as the house is a 10 minute walk from the market. I can recommend staying here, especially if you travel alone as the family took very good care of me, it was fun to have people to talk to, and it is a very safe environment to stay. Perfect little home stay in a quiet neighborhood in Leh. 😊✌️

This place is very pleasant and extremely beautiful. Host is superb. Food is great.Village is very peaceful.This homestay is surrounded by mountains from all sides.A must visit place. We will surely would love to visit this place again.Jitender is a great host.

Words cannot describe this amazing little place. Richen and her mom are the best of the best, were amazing. Ahhh the food she cooked was really amazing, they know all the best places to visit and see, D..... was also very helpful with booking and planning activities. There were lots of laughs! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the breakfast and dinner meals she prepared for us. The pricing was extremely reasonable for the wonderful service and amenities. I truly miss waking up to the view of snow capped mountains! We spent 2 nights there and wished we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back to this little piece of paradise. We miss you D... and of course your dog.

Stanzin and her family are super welcoming. And the property is close enough to main market to walk but far enough that it’s nice and quiet. My favourite spot was the terrace cafe, has a view of the mountains, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Our room was on the second floor, so we also had enough privacy for ourselves though we were sharing it with the family. Ask the barista to make you a nice cuppa in the morning 🙌

Nice place surrounded by nature. Away from cities hectic life. Care taker is a nice guy and very helpfull.

Stanzin's proactive communication about the area and directions was much appreciated. Once we settled in, we experienced great comfort. The home and room were impeccably clean and boasted wonderful furnishings. The meals prepared by them were not only incredibly tasty but also offered a variety of choices. Going above and beyond, they even thoughtfully packed biscuits for our onward travels. I wholeheartedly recommend Stanzin's accommodation for anyone seeking a place to stay in Thiksey/Leh.

This place is truly a hidden gem tucked away from the usual chaos. Though it’s slightly tricky to locate initially, once you arrive, the charm of the homestay makes it absolutely worth it. We were welcomed by Zorby upon arrival, which was a kind gesture. A huge shoutout to Happy — the star of our stay. He is the go-to guy for absolutely anything you need during your time here. Whether it's recommendations for local attractions, arranging transport, assisting with food orders, or helping out with any small requests — Happy is always ready to help with a smile. He truly lives up to his name and adds such a positive and comforting energy to the entire experience. The best part? He’s just a phone call away, which really helped us feel secure and supported, especially since the homestay is located a bit away from the central buzz of the city. All in all, this place is ideal for travelers looking for a calm and aesthetically pleasing space with helpful hosts. Would definitely recommend it

Wow, we loved staying here! Yanchen and the staff were so hospitable. They went above and beyond for every need, gave great local recommendations, and Yangchen even cooked a traditional meal for us! They were able to help us rent a motorcycle for a few days and it was way cheaper than going through other rental agencies in the city. And they booked cabs for day trips. The location is about a 25-minute walk from the Leh main market, so the neighborhood was quiet and felt more local than the main tourist areas. The room was spacious, and had all the necessary amenities, hot water, and decent wifi! The hotel has a restaurant in it, which was convenient for days we didn't want to walk to the main market. Loved staying here, highly recommend!
