Ben’s place is perfect if you’re looking for peace with amazing views. Ben also made bread for me, which was a nice touch! Highly recommended!

We stayed at The Barn as an overnight stop so sadly did not have time to go for a walk and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The cottage is lovely with a stunning little plunge pool. I can imagine sitting in the winter sun with a good book out on the verandah. The Barn entices relaxation.

Thank you for a great stay, some peace and quiet with a hot wifi connection for the always connected teenager so that he could post all his experiences of the weekend!

Hanlie’s farm house was a wonderful find! We felt right at home. We loved the isolation and the silence of the dead end valley at the foot of the towering Towerkop mountains. The house is well kitted, the beds were great, and stoep and braai was the highlight. We’d love to return.
