The Gite de la Maison de Pierre is close to Revel and its magnificent market under the belfry, also close to Castres and its houses clinging to the river, but it is especially nestled in a green setting, park of an old royal abbey of the 16th century, at the foot of the Montagne Noire. You will appreciate its preserved setting, calm, large secure swimming pool. Ideal place for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, families (with children) and friends! We're waiting for you!

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

The accommodation is fully equipped for a short or long stay, the spa can only be filled once a day due to its volume, a shower is also at your disposal in relay. The cottage has been renovated in a 17th century abbey farmhouse, and can comfortably accommodate 4 people. Dive into the pool, or visit the region; Carcassonne and Albi, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, or Toulouse are about 1 hour drive away.
