Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lago Vista

Such a relaxing place. Andrea saved us when our other AirBnb fell through! Far enough from the hustle of Austin but close enough to go right into town!

Thank you for being such a great host! I'm picky about where I stay, and your home checked all the boxes. I loved how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were, how detailed your instructions are, the towel warmers, all THE PLANTS 🥰, the coffee and tea fixings, the candles/ oils/ scents, all the tvs, the Nintendo game, the guest book, the deck, the layered decor, access to W/D, the books, great wifi, the deer everywhere, etc. Your place was the perfect retreat we desperately needed. It's obvious you put a lot of effort and care into your property. Very well done! We'll definitely be back!

Our family of 10 enjoyed this Lake House home. It is perfect for families. It was spacious, clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a nice separation of bedrooms on the upper level for the adults allowing our teenage kids to have the lower level bedrooms, but there were also bedrooms laid out to accommodate parents and children of younger ages on the lower level. We especially enjoyed the game room with table tennis, foosball and darts. The home has a flat, grassy back yard and we were easily able to set up a volleyball net and play soccer. The friendly deer emerged in the evenings and mornings and were a delight. The owner, Matt, was a very responsive host and answered our questions promptly. We were prepared for lower lake levels given the drought at Lake Travis, so note that the hike down to the water and the dock is steep and rocky given the current conditions.

Lovely home and beautifully decorated. We had to stay for a week for my husband’s job and I work from home. It has a cozy office with great internet and a nice patio to hang out in the evening. The home was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Casita is a fantastic vacation spot. A beautiful home with a great outdoor space. Lori is a great host and responds very promptly. All the rooms are fully equipped, including thoughtful touches for kids like games and more. We had a wonderful time and would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Again we had a pleased stay. This was the second time we stayed an Ashley’s and Burnetts House. It is the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing and recharging vacation. Everything you need is there, house is clean, lot of space but the highlight is the patio and pool area. The only fly in the ointment is, that there is no shade at the pool area. Burnett and Ashley are always reachable. They made the whole stay as easy as possible. Thanks again, will be back some day

Our stay at the lake house was everything we hoped for and more. The property was peaceful, private, and beautifully situated right on the water, offering stunning views throughout the day—from misty mornings to golden sunsets. The house itself was clean, well-stocked, and cozy, with thoughtful touches like board games and extra blankets. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the deck was perfect for evening barbecues and star-gazing. We spent our days lounging by the lake. There was even a fire pit where we shared stories late into the night. It felt like a perfect escape from the busy pace of everyday life. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend, a family getaway, or just a place to unplug and reconnect with nature, this lake house is a hidden gem. We’re already planning our return!

I had a delightful stay at Luis’s place in Austin. What I liked the most was how minimalist the apartment felt, while at the same time very cozy and stocked with most of what I needed — an in-unit washer and dryer, for example, and a steam iron! I liked how clear Luis’s self-checking in instructions, which included pictures, were. Moreover the apartment was in a serene location conveniently located close to most places we wanted to check out. Luis and Rick were very responsive, kind, and generous when we had queries or when we made requests for items to make our stay more comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Luis’s place while you’re in Austin!

BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

Such an amazing, cozy mini vacation—truly felt right at home! Mornings with coffee on the balcony were the perfect start to the day. The thoughtful touches throughout the apartment, especially the fan in the bedroom, made the stay extra comfortable. It was so quiet and peaceful, and watching the deer wander by was a real treat!

This is such a beautiful apartment building. It’s super clean and modern, and definitely comfortable. I loved my room and stayed here for 4 nights. During my stay I made most of the apartment amenities and bars and restaurants; all within a 10-15min Uber ride away. Shout out to Ryan from the reception desk who’s a lovely bloke – really appreciated his hospitality and friendly vibes. I throughly enjoyed my stay here and would happily stay again. I’d recommend to anyone staying here if they want comfort and convenience. My only slight negative is the road noise from the highway, even at a high floor level it’s still noticeable in the early hours. But then again, I am a light sleeper.

Couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb experience. Reinhard & Caroline’s place is in the perfect location. Close to everything and safe surroundings. The Airbnb was very clean, bed was actually really comfortable, perfect amount of space. I would definitely stay here again.

We needed a place to stay after selling our house and before moving out of Austin a few days after. The location and house were great, and Molly was very responsive, flexible and helpful!

We had a lovely stay at The Hideout and highly recommend it over a hotel! Our unit was peaceful, pristine, and had all the conveniences we could have asked for. The grounds have a country feel, but Austin amenities are within a short drive. The hosts have obviously put a lot of thought into making this tiny home cozy and efficient -- and the bed and linens were oh so comfy.

Marissa was a fantastic host! The apartment was well stocked with the basics and even a few thoughtful touches. It is on the 3rd floor so be aware of the climb, especially if visiting while it’s hot outside. The pool and workout room were a nice perk. There is a very slight scent of old cigarette smoke that is in all apartment complexes if you’ve ever lived in one. These are just the most not-picky things as the stay was great and we’d absolutely stay again. Very accessible and pro tip: exit through the back gate to use the stop light rather than trying to cross the speeding traffic outside the main gate.

John & Sherri were very responsive when i had any questions, and are just down to earth people.

Had the best time at this place! It's a 20 minute drive from Wimberly, but when you're there, it feels completely remote. The hot tub was great, even in the summer heat, and everything worked perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked, and it was easy to bring some groceries and make a meal when we weren't having dinner in Wimberly. Getting cell signal was tough out there, but that made it easy to finish my book! There is also a lot of fun nature watching through the windows and on the patio. I would come back here again.

A perfect weekend getaway. Just the peaceful environment we were looking for. The space was clean, cozy, plenty of space. The 7.5 acres was so much fun for our 2 dogs to explore. Absolutely nothing negative to say! Thank you!

Staying at 13 acres has become an annual tradition for me, and a significant spiritual experience. I love the simple but comfortable cabins. The entire property is designed for peaceful mindfulness while also being communal and inviting. The staff are responsive, caring, and prioritize creating a mindful, healing atmosphere. If you need somewhere to go for quiet, connection to nature, while being supported in your spiritual journey, I highly recommend booking time at this unique and special place.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin! Quiet and relaxing…plus was seeing all the native birds right outside the front porch!

This was a great cabin I really liked the vibe and aesthetics very well put together. the host Mark was very thoughtful there were several things there that were particular to the cabin like materials to start the fire pit should I have wanted to start it, pit skewers to make s'mores all the fixings marshmallows graham crackers chocklate etc. Lots of nice thoughtful touches that not all Airbnbs provide. the cabin felt peaceful and secluded all while being 10 minutes from the Hill country galleria. We spent lots of time in South Austin going to the record shops and other eclectic stores and this cabin was a nice retreat after a day spent in the city. There were great views at night and lots of pretty lights all over the grounds around the cabin.
