Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lagos

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

Wir haben 5 Nächte im Häuschen von Mariana verbracht und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine kleine Oase der Ruhe . Wir haben den Außenbeleuchtung, vor allem den Pool gut nutzen können. Es gab genug verschiedenartige Bereiche. Die private Terrasse im ersten Stock war herrlich und privat. Die Küche haben wir nur zum Frühstück herrichten genutzt, da es jede Menge Restaurants in der Nähe gibt. Wir würden wiederkommen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Eva's place. It's at the top of a hill with a beautiful view, in a very quiet part of Lagos, but within extremely short walk of bustling nightlife and lovely beaches. There's a private and comfortable private patio area with high walls that's perfect for a glass of wine and some charcuterie after a day at the beach. I would highly recommend staying here! Eva is also very proactive with giving instructions for check in and check out, but did not make any unreasonable or lengthy cleaning requests at check out, as some other hosts do.

L'appartement est super, mieux que sur les photos et joao a pris en charge les frais de parking pour le séjour. Très bien pour profiter de la jolie petite vieille ville et de la côte ouest. Jaoa a été parfait. Très bien équipé en produit d'hygiène et épicerie : très pratique pour ceux qui voyagent en avion ! On recommande vivement

Carmo's place was in a superb location in Lagos -walking distance to everything. you will not be dissapointed as teh images of the property do not lie- its exactly as it looks. Communication was great, if we came back to Lagos we would stay again for sure. Thanks, Lloyd

Wish we could have stayed for a month! Claudia was wonderful! What a little gem she has! Perfectly decorated, everything we needed, clean, comfortable, it was a perfect stay!

Der Kontakt mit Marcella war sehr herzlich und zuverlässig. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und mit liebevollen Details eingerichtet. Die Lage perfekt. Wir haben uns dort wie Einheimische gefühlt. Es ist ruhig, authentisch und wenig touristisch. Ein kleines Sofa wäre toll ;-)

Highly recommend! The apartment was incredibly comfortable and had all the amenities needed for a perfect beach getaway. You can tell it’s thoughtfully set up by someone who either travels often or stays here themselves.

Really lovely place with superb terasse and a good location. S&A were good communicators and gave excellent suggestions! Would defo visit again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotless. The absolute winner was the entertainment area upstairs, which we used twice for barbecues with friends. I did have some queries and our hostess answered within 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits chez Tiago et tout était tout simplement parfait ❤️ L’appartement était bien décoré, impeccable et il y avait beaucoup de rangement! Le gros plus de l’appartement était le fameux balcon avec la vue imprenable, parfait pour les petits déjeuners et les soupers. L’accès aux randonnées soit vers Lagos ou celle vers Burgau était génial! De plus, l’arrêt bus vers Lagos était à quelques mètres à pied. Vraiment tout était super, je ne voulais plus partir!!!!

Amazing place to stay. Our child felt at home here and loved it. The terrace is perfect. Great spot. Easy to find. Parking close by. Nice spots to walk. Great check in. Pedro have great instructions for arrival and was great at communicating if needed! Had great sleep at night you don’t hear any sounds outside! Also place is in between two great spots if you visit sagres and portimao 👍

My boyfriend and I were looking to stay in between the old town and the beach - Luisa and Sousa’s apartment was perfect for this. They were very informative, helpful hosts and they were very quick to reply to my messages. In the apartment, there were beach towels, an umbrella and game to play on the beach which was so helpful.

A charming place with easy access to all that Lagos has to offer. It was peaceful. Great wifi, airconditioning, good linen. Patricia was a super responsive, kind and friendly host. She had left complimentary juice, tea, coffee, bread and snacks. We loved our stay. Thank you

Highly recommend Beatriz’ beautiful apartment. Great location. Everything you need. Beatriz was very friendly and made us feel welcome. When we were not busy with other activities around town abs surrounding areas, we loved sitting on the beautiful veranda watching the view. Thank you!

The location was amazing for walking to the beach, having alfresco meals, and Emmanuelle was a wonderful host! So pleased and was a perfect start to our Portugal holiday!

Bruno’s place was exactly what was advertised. 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Europe and 10 minutes to city center. Perfect for my family and our short trip to Lagos. Bruno communicated daily and gave some tips about what to do in Lagos. Overall a great stay and would book again.

The property (we were there 18 nights) is actually located in Luz, not in Lagos, which is 3-4 miles away. That worked out well for us. Luz offers newer and larger accommodations for more reasonable prices than Lagos. We had a beautiful two bedroom penthouse with floor to ceiling windows offering great views of the Atlantic. The beach is a short walk. At night, it is quiet. A market is close by. There are a couple of good restaurants close by. The beach was nice and was actually more convenient than getting to the beach in Lagos. It was no problem getting to Lagos if you want to dine out. We had a car (10-15 minute drive) but taxis, Uber and public transportation is also available. We never met Ben, but he was very prompt in answering our every question. The apartment was clean, up to date and comfortable. We would stay there again.

We had a lovely stay at Mariana and Xander’s beautiful apartment. It was very spacious and had all of the amenities you could need for your stay. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable! The apartment was in a great location, just outside the old city walls which made it very easy to walk to all of the shops and restaurants. Parking was available as well which was super helpful since we had a car. All in all a fantastic stay 😊 Thank you Mariana!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasia's place. Kasia was extremely helpful with providing us with invaluable information regarding things to do and places to go whilst in Lagos. We would definitely stay there again.

It was a perfect location for a walk to the ocean and to the marina with restaurants and activities. Has two pools and tons of lounge chairs, and a very nice in complex cafe right by me. I used it daily. Nice couple own it. The inside is a perfect combo of spaces and amenities for one or two people. Had Netflix! Used their washer and dried clothes on their large deck. Nice hot shower and large kitchen. I would definitely stay here again when back to Lagos!!
