Maanav was proactive in response since I booked the property. location and instructions were shared by host well in advance. the place is cozy and feels like home. best part is fully equipped kitchen. host took care of all the additional requirements asked for. provision store and vegetables shop is available in the vicinity of 100 mts. friendly neighborhood. The kharma valley trek starts from the stay, worth visiting. Mirror in the room is not available so one must carry a small mirror if needed

We had an absolutely wonderful 6-day stay at Ambika’s Airbnb, and it was hard to leave this gem! The property is a spacious and beautiful retreat, nestled amidst stunning apple orchards that create a serene, peaceful, and private atmosphere. The location is perfect—tranquil yet conveniently just 500 meters from local amenities, offering the best of both worlds. The house itself is gorgeous, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, making our stay comfortable and memorable. The kitchen was well equipped, washing machine was helpful & water heaters helped a lot. Ambika was an exceptional host, incredibly helpful and responsive. She provided contacts for local services, which made exploring the area a breeze. The peaceful surroundings and the charm of the orchards made our stay truly special. We left feeling rejuvenated but sad to say goodbye. Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone seeking a serene escape with all the comforts of home!

Yashpal's daughter Kiran had all the required details to help a visitor. She is non interfering, helpful and ready with the suggested itinerary. Guests can easily cook meals as per choice without any interference or inconvenience. All utensils were already available.

Villa location is good, scenery of mountain and city look wonderful from the villa. Care taker bobby & mahindra bhaiya always there for help. they cook veg and chicken & mutton both food was delicious. Whole villa is in good condition clean,hygiene & spacious.

The outdoor seating area with the fire pit is a welcome touch and perfect to spend the night with your friends and family while overlooking the valley. The staff are excellent, some of the best we've ever seen and are always available to cook delicious meals for you! The property is great, has the perfect sense of privacy, a great outdoor bonfire area, very close to the landing site and its cafes… Absolute gem of a deal for the price I paid

What a place. What a team. If you have the chance to stay here, then STAY HERE!! The home sits at the top of a village overlooking the value with amazing views. It is peaceful and away from tourists. You will feel like you are off the grid and away from everything else. The home is brand new. We were lucky enough to see snow for 2 days making the scenery even more spectacular. We even saw monkeys come down from the trees after it started snowing. The team are absolute kings. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was the best we had in India. The chef’s attention to detail is second to no one we’ve seen. Make sure you have a BBQ outside with a bon fire. The staff are always checking to see if you need something and making sure that everything is going well with regular check ups through the day and evening. The owner provided some amazing tips and support for the surrounding areas and even drove us down the mountain to see Manali. Would recommend everyone stays here. Awesome.

Well, to start with, nothing but praises for the host, Kritika, she was so friendly and helpful. Has so much knowledge about the place, full of recommendations and places to check out. Sadly I was only staying for one night as I was passing through but she suggested so many great places to eat and shop! Plus the welcome basket was such a nice personal touch. Loved it! Special mention to the staff (especially Suman didi), they do such a good job of keeping the place (Bathrooms, Kitchen, Rooms etc.) squeaky clean and super friendly too. The place itself was super easy to find, accurate location pin, plus Kritika was literally just one phone call away the whole time I stayed there. Phone network was good plus the place has WiFi, so no communication issues at all. Safe to say I’m definitely coming back for a longer stay super soon simply to explore Bir in its entirety! Very good experience over all, 10/10 would recommend Hermit’s Nest to anyone who is in Bir. Kudos to Kritika and her team.

It is a very beautiful place to stay with very peaceful neighbourhood with mesmerising views from room as seen in the pictures. The property is very well maintained and meant for someone who is looking to live at a peaceful space and surrounding instead of super commercialised area of manali Shoutout to the host utkarsh for being super responsive even at very early hour of the day and helping us with local recommendations and contacts which made our trip easy to plan. I myself is a host and after staying at this property i will definitely recommend this to everyone as he met all the standards that are needed for a memorable and peaceful stay, i will definitely comeback to stay here again!

thr best you can find in Manali for this price the place was extremely clean it is 3-4 km from old Manali and hadimba temple but walking distance from vashisht temple just some of the amenities were missing except the staff was extremely cooperative and helpful

A Home Away from Home! If you’re looking for a peaceful, cozy, and heartwarming stay in the mountains, look no further than Seema Aunty and Subhash Ji’s beautiful Airbnb. The wooden cabin itself is a dream—warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed with comfortable heated mattresses. Every meal was home-cooked, ultra-delicious, and bursting with flavor. It was pure comfort food, made with love. On our last day, Seema Aunty herself made us the most amazing aloo parathas, which were hands down the best we’ve ever had. Seema Aunty is one of the warmest, kindest hosts you’ll ever meet. She made sure we were comfortable at all times and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. One thing to keep in mind—reaching the property requires climbing around 3-4 floors worth of stairs, so if you’re traveling with elderly family members, do consider this. Thank you, Seema Aunty and Subhash ji for a wonderful stay!!

Tucked away in a peaceful village, there's zero disturbance—just calm, quiet, and beautiful views all around. The serenity here feels like the perfect remedy for anyone needing a mental reset. The property is exactly as described. While the last stretch of the road is a bit muddy, the owner thoughtfully provides free pick-up and drop-off from the paved road at check-in and check-out, which is a big plus. Highly recommend this place to anyone seeking peace, healing, and a refreshing break for the mind and soul.

The property is just what I was looking for a few days off getaway, far from the hustle bustle of tourists! The location is just perfect, offbeat but It’s peaceful serene and relatively unexplored. Bantu is a good cook, he prepared excellent hot meals and gave good recommendations. Best part is it’s a perfect place for pet parents as the property doesn’t have any cattle or other dogs/cats around.

Konoha in Japanese means a hidden village by leaves which is exactly what this felt like- hidden treasure. It was more beautiful than what photos and videos can capture, the silence, beauty of slowing down the time and the amazing hospitality and warmth by people who keep this place running made the trip one of my best ones! Their kindness made me feel right at home and turned this trip into one of the most cherished memories I have. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything—I’m already looking forward to returning soon.

Sainj valley is a peaceful space. Cottage is good. And Mr Satish is further building a tree house. Best season to visit is April-May. Although we visited the place in January when winters were at peak. They provide you bonfire free of cost for which others charge Rs. 1000. Additionally the place is surrounded by deodar and pine trees and apple trees, which give you serene experience. And the best part is their cook Mr. Fatehsingh . He makes you yummy food and tea whenever you want. His best dish is his biryani veg/ nonveg both and kadak adrakwali chai. All in all a very good experience. Only one caveat: roads are little damaged due to rains but you can reach the place anyhow. No major issues there.
