Superb central location within easy walking distance of virtually anything you’d want or need in Nanyuki. Room is adjacent to two long balconies. Two floors up is a rooftop where I enjoyed my coffee and breathtaking views of Mt Kenya. This place is family owned, with a great deal of history in this area. Room has a simple kitchen which is all I need. When I don’t want to cook, there’s an excellent restaurant downstairs run by a friendly staff. I stayed a week and would definitely stay more!

Had a great time at Namelok Retreat Centre. Very nice accommodations. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. We felt very safe. The entire facility was beautiful. Exactly as advertised. The staff was also very friendly and took great care of us. If we're ever in this area, we'll definitely be staying here again. Thank you!

I have used the services of Air B&B for many years and have had great hosts. However without any hesitation, Lydia is simply the best host by a long shot! Very responsive, passionate about making her guests feel comfortable and well cared for. She personally sees to it that everything was to her high standards. Her place is very secure, very spacious, modern , private and everything you’d expect of a high end facility. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely be back and would very highly recommend Lydia’s home for anyone looking for a facility that ticks all the boxes.

I stayed at the Kiota House for two nights in February 2024 with a group of 8th people, and can really recommend it for groups. The house is an old colonial house build on a small escarpment with absolutely amazing views over the savanna below, and mount Kenya in the distance. The house is beautifully decorated, the rooms are all spacious and ensuite, great balconies and public spaces, beautiful garden, etc. The staff were very kind and helpful, the cook was amazing (we brought our own food and I don't think we could have done a better job ourselves cooking it). We also asked for a safari vehicle for game drives, and they provided us with Peter Mukubio - one of the best guides that I have had in Kenya. The conservancy is nice, many elephants, giraffes, we saw lions, cheetahs, bateared foxes, lots of birds, and many more. To note - they only accept 4x4 cars in safari colours, and you always need a guide with you. This could have been communicated clearer. Apart from this, all was good!

The house is lovely and the kids really enjoyed the pool. Susan was very friendly and so were the other staff. The location is ideal with no external distractions. We loved everything about the location and it was everything it promised and more.

Greenwoods is a great location, easy to find and nicely done. The linen is clean and the beds comfortable. It is generously furnished with top quality white goods and really felt like home away from home! Definitely my go to place when in Nanyuki!

If your in nyanuki and you want to stay right in town this is the place! New, secure, and very clean.

Absolutely loved the place. Clean, serene, suffcient parking, well equipped kitchen, nice views, loved having the balcony in the sitting room and the patio on the other side of the house. The place was only a 5-10 min drive to everything that we needed. Will definitely be coming back again!
