Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Atitlán

The stay at Casa Qatzig was amazing. My partner, some friends and I stayed and the truth is that we all left very happy, it was like being at home. The rooms are very good and the common areas are very clean and well cared for. In addition, Andrés is a charming person and the volunteers who work there are too. They helped us with everything we needed, recommendations and even to get an economical and safe transport to and from. Definitely a place we will repeat and highly recommend. PS: Our preferred host was their dog. Thanks so much Andres!

The host was very kind, arrived at the time we set for check-in, the house seemed very nice because there is contact with nature, everything was clean and the beds were super comfortable, in the morning there were squirrels, it ✨ is close to the lake, only the check-out I feel was very early (10am) highly recommended 10/10

The little house worked perfect for our weekend. It was simple. Quiet. Easy access to kayaks and the lake. There is not a view of the lake from the house, but we enjoyed the front porch and garden to okay games and relax. It was so quiet!

We would be more than happy to return. The garden is beautiful and very private. The host was very prompt with a question we had about wood for the sauna. In the evening, the lighting in the main room was low. Making it slightly difficult to read a book. The sheets on the bed were fantastic. Nice thick, crisp sheets.

We felt right at home, a beautiful place, quiet , private . We loved the casita. I recommend it 100% by the very attentive host, Edgar the very friendly guardian. They receive our furry guests but it is definitely to carry small pets because the casita is so cute full of flowers that it is not appropriate for big dogs, ours is a German shepherd and we were very careful with the garden but we always worry about it won't hurt. But we definitely recommend it, thank you and we hope to be back soon !!!

We had a lovely time in Panajachel. The space was perfect for our family- tidy, spacious with a good kitchen and comfy beds. Close to the Main Street and restaurants and easy to walk everywhere.

We had a great time at Antonio’s place. He was a very responsive host and gave lots of recommendations. The view from the house was the best part with an amazing backyard. It was a bit far from town but the tuc tucs were an easy ride in. We had a wonderful stay on the lake and would recommend for other groups.

I still can't believe how wonderful this place was. If you're looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, this is it. Heavenly. Fast Internet, great host, convenient, clean. Everything about it was perfect.

It is second time that I stayed here, the place never disappoints. A beautiful house decorated with plenty of space to relax and have a nice time. The new pool with jacuzzi is beautiful and relaxing. We had a great time with the family. Thank you for the hospitality of its staff feels like you are at home.

Absolutely amazing property! The walk from the gate to the house was a beautiful surprise. The third floors had AMAZING views of the lake and mountains. Waking up to the sounds of the birds was a dream. PJ was very understanding to our situation and offered a playpen for the babies. The stay was wonderful. Thank you so much!

It was a brilliant stay with everything we needed and great communication. The plunge pool, sauna and net on the deck were big winners. Just do be advised since photos have been taken there is a bit of growth of plants around the property and a new house built next door. Also Nicolas does live on the property out the back who takes care, he is lovely and stays out of the way completely but just a heads up. Had everything we needed but would advise bringing food to cook as it is a bit out of town so having some meals at the place is recommended and a must with the view. Definitely wake up early to watch the stunning sun rises. Thanks for the stay

The accommodation was very good, it seems a little small but it's fine. The host is friendly and quick to respond. For the area, it would be good to bring mosquito repellent. The beds are comfortable and spacious, it meets everything described. Thank you for letting us stay.

A private, quiet and very comfortable place. Daniel was waiting for us to arrive and provided accurate instructions. We appreciate the services of Erika and Carlos that helped in the needs that may arise as cleaning, etc are nice and very attentive people.

My friend and I had a lovely few day stay in Becca's place. It was nice to have our own little part of Santiago - lovely views of the lake and nearby volcano, a great restaurant on the premises, and of course, the cabin itself was well appointed. There was lots of purified water, a great kitchen with fridge and comfortable bedding. We would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a special stay while visiting Santiago, and Lago Atitlan..

I stayed at Julio's place with my husband and 2 kids. It was a blast! We really enjoyed it! Most beautiful view in that area around the lake ! Julio is very responsible,helpful and friendly as all his stuff! I Would recommend it to all!

My kids LOVED the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Also we took the kayaks on the lake for a morning paddle. There's also a sauna on the property, which we briefly tried. The little house was perfect for our needs and had everything we needed - its at the very top of the hills, so a bit of a trek. Restaurant at the bottom was OK - we enjoyed the tacos, and the fruit smoothie drinks. One note - be careful about closing the door, as it will automatically lock - we accidentally locked ourselves out, and the restaurant didn't have the key. Would absolutely stay here again!

This was one of the most beautiful Airbnb spots I have ever stayed at. First of all, the back patio has an incredible view! I cannot say enough about how relaxing it is out there. There are outdoor hammock hooks already in place and two different hammocks stored inside should you wish to use them. This is in addition to the other super comfy outdoor furniture already outside. Secondly, the quality of the furniture, mattresses etc is outstanding. Top quality and all of the comforts of home. I wish that my bathroom at home was as modern as this one. Thirdly, there are a number of very personal touches such as binoculars, local Mayan shopping bags, white twinkly lights in the rafters should you wish to plug them in, bags of extra coffee etc. Clearly there has been a lot of thought put into this Airbnb. Finally, having a washer is very, very handy and there is a discreet pull out clothesline (and a Mayan bag of clothes pegs) on the back deck. I absolutely loved this place!!!!!

As a solo traveller I felt very safe at Stacy’s place. It looked exactly like the photos and was incredibly close to the lanchas to town hop. I booked the private driver, Ronaldo, that Stacy recommended which was lovely as well, he was a safe reliable driver. There are other Airbnbs in the building so you don’t feel completely isolated. The hosts were extremely responsive so I never had an issue and didn’t have to wait long for a response. Shower and bathroom were clean and reliable. Gorgeous views of the lake, San Pedro was a great place to stay!

A very nice and comfortable cabin. It has everything you need and more. Well furnished and equipped. The only thing to take into consideration could be to place a slightly clearer identifier of the entrance and take into account that the downhill is quite narrow and steep. Otherwise it's an excellent place and you can easily reach any of the nearby villages either by car or tuk tuk.

Nice view For access to the lake (although it could be maintained) We had San Juan and San Pedro nearby And a little shop at the exit, all good

We loved our stay here especially as we wanted something that felt homely for a few days. The location was great, right on top of a hill with a great view of the lake and the home itself was cute & cosy. We struggled with wifi and warm water on the first 2 days but then thankfully it was fixed which made it much better. Communication went really well at all times when we needed help or recommendations or laundry done! I highly recommend the place & Thanks for letting us stay !

my friends and i loved our stay here! the property is stunning. pascual, who takes care of the property, very kindly waited for us when our boat was delayed and was very available and helpful during our stay. we also had our dinner upon arrival and our breakfasts made by maria, the cook and house keeper. she was a lovely woman and made amazing food. the property is secluded but it is easy to get a boat to go to the surrounding towns, we never waited any longer than a few minutes for transportation from the property. there is no a/c and there are spiders and scorpions around the property to be aware of if these are concerns for you (i don’t think that it would be different staying elsewhere), but we had no problem with either. there is a lovely breeze coming from the lake at night to cool down the house. we definitely would stay here again!
