Farmstay holiday rentals in Lake Balaton

We spent an awesome long weekend at Julianna’s place. The panoramic lake view from the terrace is spectacular. The fully fenced garden was perfect for our dog. Marked hiking routes, and several vineyards are in walking distance. Daytime temperatures reached 30 °C while we were there, yet the house stayed pleasantly cool throughout. Highly recommended.

We spent a few days at the Berek house during the holidays and had a very pleasant, relaxing vacation. All necessary information was provided - check in was super easy. The house was clean, well equipped and beautifully renovated. Petra was easy to get in touch with, responsive, and answered all our questions prior to arrival as well as during our stay. No complaints - great spot, friendly and professional host.

Rozsa was very responsive, hospitable, gave us several recommendations regarding the area, which beaches to go to, etc. She offered her help to meet us at a certain time in the foothills and escorted us to the top where the house is located. The house itself is very cozy, well thought out, with many different interior details and everything necessary for a comfortable stay. This place gives you a feeling of privacy, but at the same time you know that your neighbors will be nearby. The view of the valley and lake was amazing. The first night the wild animals were a bit noisy and disturbing, for the rest of the week I think they realized we were there and didn't come back. Overall we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Gyönyörű helyen, békés és tiszta szállásunk volt. A szállásadó közvetlen és segítőkész. Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat, már most visszavágyunk.

Heel fijn gezellig huisje, zowel binnen als buiten. Mooi uitzicht op een berg vanuit het huisje en vanaf het terras en het huisje ligt in een prachtige omgeving om te wandelen en te fietsen. Keuken is goed uitgerust. We hebben een heel fijne tijd gehad en komen graag heel nog eens terug! De communicatie met Gabor en zijn moeder was super. Het contact ter plaatse was met Maria, ze was meer dan vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam!

Gyönyörű környezetben, komfortos, tiszta és igazán hangulatos szálláshely! Segítőkész és kedves szállásadóval. Családdal ideális volt, mert jól felszerelt és a természet közepén van. Így a kisgyerekek egész nap kint tudtak szaladgálni a jó levegőn, csodás Balatoni kilátással. Bár ez utóbbi leginkább a felnőtteknek volt élmény! :) A közelben levő Laci Pince Csárda pedig szintén kiemelkedően jó élmény volt. Köszönjük szépen!

Gyönyörű helyen lévő, majdnem 200 éves ház, autentikus, mégis kellő mértékben modernizált berendezéssel. Különleges élmény volt.

Bátran ajánlom bárkinek, aki egy nyugodt környezetben elhelyezkedő házikóban szeretne eltölteni pár napot. Mi nagyon jól éreztük magunkat.

Csodás helyen egy régi mesebeli nádfedeles présházikó. A hely maga egy szelet történelem, visszarepít egy régi korba mégis a mai modern világ minden kényelmét hordozza. Bámulatba ejtő ahogy a magyar kultúra megjelenik eme régi, hűvös és védelmező falak között. Az hogy minden korhű elemet megőrizve áll ez a présház, egy hatalmas szeretet jele. A család, a szeretett, a kedvesség jegyeit hordozza eme hely gyümölcsfáival és levendula ültetvényeivel. A szállásadó és segítője mérhetetlenül kedves és segítőkész. Aki itt megszáll beleszeret a helybe, a természetbe és haza se akar menni. Azon felül, hogy a szőlősorok, gyümölcsfák, fűszer és gyógynövények mind mind egy karnyújtásnyira vannak, maga az erdő kis lakói is tiszteletüket teszik ha türelmesen várunk a ház előtti kispadon, mely egy régi és hatalmas diófa árnyékában pihen. Őzikék, vadnyulak, fácánok jönnek a házhoz és kíváncsian szemlélik a ház ideiglenes lakóit. A ház mögötti medence hibátlan, tiszta és meleg.

Felszerelt, kényelmes, kompakt!

Gyönyörű környezet, csendes, nyugodt szálláshely. A szobák tiszták voltak, illetve elég nagyok ahhoz, hogy kényelmesen elférjünk bennük.

Nagyon jó hely, a kilátás a ház elől már önmagában megér egy foglalást. A környék nagyon békés, majdhogynem külön erőfeszítést kell tenni, ha embereket akarunk látni. Az éjszaka csendjébe pedig csak egy egy távoli kutyaugatás "rondít" bele a domb alatt lévő faluból. Ha nem a házban akarjuk eltölteni az időnket, akkor lehet a környező túraútvonalakon, erdőkben kirándulni, illetve fél órán belül megannyi látnivaló elérhető.

Had a wonderful stay as part of our trip around Lake Balaton. Our host communicated clearly with perfect instructions to enter. The place was exactly as described and shown in the photos. It was a quiet area, though you may hear a small bit of freeway noise if you sleep with windows open! I felt like this was the perfect example of a place to stay in this area of the lake - a smaller home on a piece of land. They even have grapes growing on the property. Sharing some extra details to help future guests plan: When we stayed, the kitchen had essentials (silverware, kettle, dishes) but also had some amenities (coffee, tea, sugar). There were no shower amenities (body wash, shampoo, soap) so be sure to bring yours! We recommend Czirok Lajos (a restaurant nearby) if you have time for dinner!

The host was really nice, friendly and helpful. The view is just breathtaking (getting up there via narrow paths with a car is not the easiest thing, but it’s worth it). The place is huge, clean and organized, it has everything that it needs, perfect for big groups: loads of space for socializing, outside cooking possibility, wine cellar, saunas, well-equipped kitchens. The decoration of the place is very unique, not necessarily our style, but it’s nice and well-maintained. Have I mentioned the breathtaking view?

What a fantastic place! Beautiful Appartment, fantastic surroundings and a beautiful pool. Kitchen was very well equipped and the hostess (Monika) was great, Google translate it was but it helped so much in feeling away from it all. Also the kids absolutely loved it. They make their own wine which adds to the experience. Went for a run in the early morning, very much liked the diverse environment. All in all we really enjoyed our time, the place is fantastic and lives up to the expectation. We might go again next year!

Lisa’s place is amazing and at great location. It is very spacious and a stone throw from the lake. Lisa herself is very kind and the check in was smooth and the instructions were clear and accurate. The kitchen is unfortunately not very well taken care of as the dishes were mainly dirty and stained and I wish Lisa was more available in case of unexpected situations because when there was a problem with heating I had to wait for 3 days until the problem was resolved which is not very convenient in winter time. But I can understand that unexpected problems might occur so after all it wasn’t that much of a big deal. However, I think this place is totally worth the price and I also appreciate that there are boardgames you can borrow and it is very well furnished with absolutely everything you might need for your stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to spend some beautiful time at Balaton. Thank you!

Absolut tolle Unterkunft. Der Blick auf den Balaton ist grandios. Die Gastgeberin hat uns in jeder Hinsicht und bei allen fragen super unterstützt. Wenn wir wieder an den Balaton fahren, kommen wir gern wieder.

Amazing place in beautiful surroundings. Loved relaxing in the garden with a glass of Badacsony wine and enjoying local produce from the nearby farmers market in the cute traditional kitchen. The house has everything you need for a relaxing family getaway. Will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation near Lake Balaton. The property is absolutely spotless, with a luxurious feel throughout. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The outdoor space is truly stunning – a beautifully maintained garden and courtyard, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Another highlight was the charming wine cellar in the basement – a hidden gem that adds a lot of character to the place. Although no meals were provided, the fully equipped kitchen and nearby restaurants made it easy to enjoy our time. The pool was also fantastic – clean, peaceful, and ideal for warm, sunny days. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish and peaceful getaway in the Balaton area!
