This private vacation home on Lake Barkley have beautiful views of the lake and has lots of wildlife viewing opportunities. This property also includes use of a 2 slip private dock at the end of the Rockcastle bay. This beautiful home is located on 10 acres and is on a private drive. The dock is only 150 yards from the back door! ATTENTION!! The dock is only accessible from the water during the summer pool levels. Summer pool is usually April until Early August but dates vary.

It is one bedroom apartment in the basement of our home, with no cleaning fee because we want you to treat it as you would your home. There is a separate entrance and access to 26 acres of hills and trees. We have two horses on the property and feed from anywhere 3 to 15 deer each evening. We are 4.2 miles from I-24 and 7 miles from Kentucky lake, Patti's, Turtle Bay and the marina. Full kitchen available and beautiful sunsets. It is beautiful, words cannot do it justice.

This was such a beautiful wooded setting; so peaceful and the perfect getaway for our anniversary! Everything was very clean with modern finishes and very well decorated! The bed was amazing! I didn't even wake up during the night, which I usually do. The coffee, provided from a local coffee shop, was amazing! We highly recommend this beautiful tree house for your next getaway! We had a great weekend at Black Eagle Retreat. The place itself was so impressively constructed and staged for relaxation. We appreciated the comfy beds and furniture, well stocked kitchen and great shower! We loved both porches depending on where the sun was shining. The hot tub was great!! The best was being at the level of birds as they flew nearby with a great view as a backdrop.

A super cozy place for a weekend get away! It was quiet, peaceful, and clean. Check in and out instructions were straight forward and easy. We had a couples get away, but it would have been very easy to take our children there too! The hot tub and short walk to the lake were great bonuses!

Nice and spacious cabin. All of the bedrooms were nice sized and outfitted with comfortable beds. The kids loved the available games and puzzles as well as the chance to learn how to play pool. The movie room was their favorite part by far, and the available videos had something for everyone. The hot tub was a really nice way to unwind after our visits to the Land Between the Lakes National Forest. We would recommend that to anyone looking for something to do in the area.

Our family has come here three years in a row and we love it here! The house has everything we need, the bedrooms are cozy and comfortable and the theatre and game rooms are always a hit. The hosts have always been super kind and we always look forward to our next trip here.
