Apartment holiday rentals in Lake Chapala

If Susan’s Casita is available for your trip to Ajijic, book it! I stayed here for 3.5 weeks and felt like a “guest” at her home. She performed above and beyond any host I’ve known. I have previously stayed in the center of Ajijic, which was a lively experience. Susan’s place is much quieter. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the center of Ajijic and the Malecón. It’s only about 15 minutes to the San Antonio Malecón, which I loved because of the incredible bird life. Spending time on the rooftop (mirador), with the beautiful surroundings, was relaxing. You’ll also get a great front-row seat of the egrets coming in for the evening to nest in the trees over the casita. The neighborhood is safe. The locals are friendly. The AC worked very well. I’d stay here again, for sure! Thank you, Susan!!!

I spent 12 days at Mary’s beautiful property after undergoing surgery. The location is close to two grocery stores and a short walk to Ajijic Centro where there are several restaurants and quaint shops. The casita has a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed and was very private for my recovery. I especially enjoyed the two patios overlooking the luscious gardens. The best part of my stay was Mary. She is an exceptional host who goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. She even drove me to my clinic appointments. She is a lovely lady, sweet, kind and generous. She has lived in Ajijic for several years and is very knowledgeable of the area. I will definitely stay at her property again when I return to Ajijic.

Excelente lugar y ubicación

The views of the lake from the condo and from the rooftop patio were absolutely stunning. Greeting the day with a beautiful sunrise was enchanting. The small town of El Chante offered all the shopping I needed. Although there aren't many "dining out" options in El Chante, you can get a bus easily and within a few minutes have tons of restaurant options. Although there were a few issues with power and water outages, they were brief and LiaZa's great communication made it easy to navigate. The security team is exceptional. They were always friendly and ready to support. I would definitely consider returning to this property when I come back to the Lake Chapala area.

Chanelle’s property at the Racquet Club is awesome. Perfect location for our needs. One little extra thing we needed, Chanelle was there with it before I was ready! Great communication, easy check in and out, and our dogs loved it too. Very pet friendly community.

Un alojamiento acogedor, muy limpio y en una zona tranquila. Si buscas un lugar tranquilo y cómodo sin duda alguna está esta es una gran opción

Es un excelente lugar para pasar el fin de semana, todo esta impecable y en excelentes condiciones, tiene todas las amenidades necesarias para estar, el lugar es tranquilo y en general me gusto mucho la estancia, el anfitrion en todo momento estuvo al pendiente por cualquier cosa, muy amigable y cortés. Solamente recomiendo llevar todos los alimentos desde antes porque no vi lugares cerca para comprar que estén cerca, de ahí en más, el lugar está perfecto y si recomiendo, muy bien para darse una escapada en pareja.

If you want to get a taste of what it's like to live downtown in a small Mexican city, this is the place for you! We really enjoyed the sights and sounds of Chapala. If you want to tune out some of the neighborhood sounds while you sleep, a white noise machine has been thoughtfully provided. The casita is clean and skylights let in lots of natural light. There's a comprehensive notebook of local information and a copy of the Lake Chapala Insider's Guide as well as a personal orientation upon check-in. A well-equipped kitchen, water dispenser, washing machine and clothesline make the Lime Casita a wonderful home base for your explorations of the city. The big park is across the street, where you can walk, play tennis or frisbee golf, and even take in local futból (soccer) games in the evening. The casita is halfway between the malecon and the Plaza, so you're within three or so blocks of all kinds of restaurants and shopping. The malecon is really hopping on the weekends with pony rides for kids, musical entertainment and people watching. To relax, you can sit on the terrace of your casita with a beverage and watch the world go by!

el departamento está impecable, la decoración muy bonita, muy agusto y agradable, cerca del malecón y muy accesible. la alberca climatizada con el agua a gusto para toda la familia, con asador disponible. la terraza y áreas comunes muy agusto y bonitas.

Un espacio si bien muy tranquilo para poder descansar, y con lo necesario para poder hacerlo

Me quedé en este Airbnb por aproximadamente un mes y fue una experiencia muy agradable. El host fue siempre muy amable, atento y dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier cosa que necesitara. La comunicación fue excelente desde el primer día. El barrio es tranquilo y seguro, ideal para descansar. Además, la ubicación es muy conveniente: todo está cerca — tiendas, el mercado, transporte público y otros servicios esenciales. Es fácil moverse tanto a pie. La vivienda está bien equipada, todo funcionó perfectamente durante mi estancia: internet, agua caliente, cocina, electrodomésticos, etc. Me sentí muy cómodo y como en casa durante todo el tiempo. Sin duda lo recomendaría y volvería a hospedarme aquí si regreso a la zona. ¡Gracias por todo!

Sin duda un agradable lugar para quedarse sobre todo si vas a un evento a la Arena VFG ya que queda muy cerca, la zona es algo tranquila. La vista desde el lugar es excelente muy lindo todo. El anfitrión atento ante cualquier situación que haya podido presentarse. El lugar luce muy bien, todo en perfectas condiciones y muy lindo absolutamente todo. Volvería a quedarme en este espacio sin duda alguna. Gracias.

El lugar es muy muy bonito, permiten mascotas, lo cual es un plus, hace falta mantenimiento en varios lugares del alojamiento pero nada que impida disfrutar la vista, el descanso y la diversión. El lugar es compartido con quienes viven en la casa de arriba, si bien no usaron la alberca ni bajaron para nada, el lugar no es completamente privado ya que tuvimos visibilidad de ellos y ellos de nosotros. La licuadora no funcionaba pero el resto de utensilios en la cocina y asador están muy bien. La vista es increíble, la alberca muy cómoda.

Lugar agradable y tranquilo, el departamento está muy amplio y todas las amenidades estuvieron bien, el vecindario muy tranquilo. Ideal para alejarse del estrés de la ciudad.

La casa es mucho mejor que en las fotos, la hospitalidad es increíble y la atención aún más, cada rincón de la casa es perfecto y es muy grande y cómoda, la alberca es súper linda lo recomiendo 100%, regresaría siempre !

El departamento estuvo muy agradable, está ubicado en muy buena zona, todo queda muy cerca. Hay muchos restaurantes deliciosos. El apartamento estuvo muy limpio y acogedor. La anfitriona Ana Luisa es muy amable y servicial. Definitivamente estaremos de regreso a esta propiedad nos sentimos muy cómodos.

Excelente lugar para pasar un fin de semana en familia , muy tranquilo , relajado , de fácil acceso & muy cómodo.

Veníamos a relajarnos al lago y se logró, la casa está súper bonita con todas las amenidades, el silencio de la zona ayuda mucho a descansar, la terraza con el jacuzzi está wow! Hay lugares muy buenos cerca para comer yen carro nos movimos súper fácil. Gracias por hospedarnos definitivamente volveremos 🙌🏼
