Monthly Rentals in Lake Chapala

I enjoyed the stay at Maria's house; everything was very clean and the house was quiet; I got everything I needed, and comunication with her, was easy. check in and out, was a breeze. I felt calm in a cozy space for the whole week. Maria is a great person with a beautiful heart, as well as her husband and kids. I will come back!!!

This apartment was the perfect place to stay during my time in Lake Chapala. The location couldn’t have been better - max 2 minute walk to the lake, close to everything I needed, yet tucked away enough to feel like a quiet retreat. Especially for bird enthusiasts! I woke up each morning to the sound of birdsong and truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. It’s clear that the host put thought into creating a restful, comfortable space. The apartment had everything I needed and more, and I always felt safe and relaxed there. The provided coffee was delicious and 5 gallon drum of drinking water was greatly appreciated as when I arrived the shops were closed. The pool was wonderfully kept, great temperature and lovely to relax in. The healthy rosemary bushes added a subtle, relaxing scent near the pool. If you’re looking for a calm, walkable, and beautifully located home base in Chapala, this is it. I’d gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the area.

This is the third time I've stayed at this location. Regina and her brother and father are all great and very accommodating and nice. The location works very well for me and it's also one of the only places I've found in Ajijic with a soft bed! My only complaint is that the hot water is very unreliable, especially in the shower. Also the water flow itself in the shower gets bigger and smaller seemingly for no reason. Maybe I'm just not doing something right, but I haven't figured out how to make it work consistently. I've adapted though, and look forward to staying at this casita.

Peaceful quiet stay on golf course. Beautiful even though dry season was in full force, but yard and flowering trees outstanding. Not our first stay here and won't be our last.
