Beautiful and accommodating- we took our 5 kids and our frenchies out of Manhattan for the long weekend and found the most perfect gem to reconnect as a family and with nature here! The rooms were perfect, we played games, enjoyed the hot tub and campfire and local attractions. The hosts are more than flexible and easy to communicate with!

We enjoyed our time in your beautiful home. We had so much fun in the game room. The kitchen was fully equipped with appliances. Everything looked exactly like the pictures. Our experience was a 10 out of 10 and we’d absolutely recommend.

The house is beautiful and cozy, with lots of natural light and high ceilings.!…The kitchen is equipped with all the basics (cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, pans). They even provide coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, salt, seasonings, and paper towels. A welcome basket with everything you need to make marshmallows for the kids was included. The bathroom is very clean and modern (they even provide toothbrushes). I mention this because, For me, details count a lot when choosing a place to vacation and relax, and the most important thing I felt at home away from home!…

This cabin provides a peaceful break from day to day busy life. Upon arrival we were greeted by 3 dee in the front yard. They visited frequently throughout our stay. The home was clean and well stocked. There were items thag most of us use day to day but wouldn't typically pack (spices, oils, etc). The fenced in yard was beautiful and allowed our dogs are safe space to explore. The cabin is a quiet neighborhood.

Emily’s place is beautiful! Quite, close to the lake and very close to stores and things to do. I love the towel fold on each bed and the drawing pads in the kitchen and bedrooms a cute little trinket we didn’t even know was so much fun lol. The heated floor in the kitchen is AMAZING and I love that they think about the little things like seasonings in the cabinets! The extra kids toys were great for the littles and I love that you thought to put them in a place a 2 year old would definitely open looking to get into trouble lol I appreciate your proactivity! This was the best place to unplug and relax with family or friends! Thank you for your hospitality Emily!

Spend my 39th birthday here with my family and we all had fun. The jacuzzi was nice, the game room was fully equipped and brought me back to my youth. The sauna and tub jacuzzi was also a plus. The house host was very responsive and polite. The house had everything you needed and more! Will definitely come back again and I recommend it to anyone looking to getaway in this serene, tranquil and beautiful home and private community 10/10!!!!!

Stayed here as a big family gathering to celebrate my father’s birthday and it was such an enjoyable getaway we did not want to leave. We had 6 adults and did not feel cramped at all. The area is so serene and gorgeous and the creek in the back is truly magical. The house had everything you could need, including all cooking items and even phone/Apple Watch chargers. Doreen was incredibly responsive and we never really worried about anything. It was such a beautiful cabin and area. I hope to visit again soon!

What a great experience! The Woodside A-Frame is a beautifully designed house, built with love and care, and it shows. Our family couldn't have asked for a better time. The place was pristine and exactly as described. It was an awesome weekend getaway to explore the area. Jonathan was an excellent host, helpful and responsive.

The Happy Days Chalet was a great spot for a weekend getaway. Although the weather didn’t cooperate while we were there, the inside was comfortable with plenty of seating, spots to play games, and hang out. All the tech worked great and the outside spaces looked lovely even if the rain kept us from using them. We especially enjoyed seeing lots of deer and even a fox!

Julie was an amazing host! I felt that everything she had to offer was spot on! Greenwood Lake is a beautiful place and we wanted to stay longer! This place is a photographers dream! When we arrived check in was easy! The place was as described and clean! We can’t wait to bring our family back! Julie does have rules in place for check out that we followed and they were easy! I’m a firm believer in a host setting rules for people to keep their place in tip top shape and enjoyable for the next guests! We cannot wait to book with Julie again! Thank you so much!!

We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect place to do our 'digital detox' in a lovely cabin with plenty to do (ping pong, fire pit, hot tub and canoeing), and it was well situated to do short drives to hikes, the organic market, horseback riding and more. The house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable reading, playing board games, cooking and relaxing there. (The bedding was comfortable, too!) The hosts were friendly and gave great recommendations. We would definitely stay there again.

Four of us humans and two pups stayed at Morgan's cozy cabin 4 nights for the Memorial Day long weekend. the living, dining, and kitchen areas are spacious for us to cook and do videos games. The cabin is located in a quiet gated community, so there were few cars passing by. We needed to check in at the entrance every time to enter the community, so we feel very safe during our stay. Also, the cabin is about 13 minutes from a huge dog park. our pups got to enjoy running around off leash going there every morning. highly recommend.

We had a great stay! The house is very nice, with a spacious backyard and plenty of things to do inside. The kitchen was well-equipped and made cooking easy and enjoyable. Clinton was quick to respond and helpful throughout our stay. The grass was a bit high. Also, just a friendly reminder to be cautious about insects—we did find a few ticks on ourselves and our dogs. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and appreciated the peaceful setting and thoughtful amenities.

Katherine was a wonderful host, and her Barryville home was the perfect getaway for our family. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed—the thoughtful breakfast treats waiting for us were such a kind touch and set the tone for our stay. The cabin itself is spotless, tastefully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. Katherine was always quick to respond and happy to accommodate our questions and requests. Her flexibility and warm communication made planning our days easy. :) If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with a responsive host, delightful personal touches, and a home base that feels both rustic and refined, Katherine’s place is perfect. We’re already talking about coming back!!

This was exactly the break that my family needed for a couple of days. I loved having no TV and lots of opportunities to hike to see waterfalls and fresh air! The kitchen was well set up for meals at home. It was chilly and rained most of the time, but we played cards and talked - so great! We were able to have an outdoor fire the last night and it was perfect! My only recommendation (and this has nothing to do with the cute house) for people coming to the area is to bring some printed maps as the area has very little cell phone coverage and we might have missed some of what we wanted to see as we simply couldn't find it. The falls we hiked (Hackers, Raymondskill, Dingmans and Silver Thread) were amazing! I would rent this place again!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. Sparta was perfect for a weekend away. It was a short walk away from a beautiful private lake and quiet and relaxing. Mario was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in seamless. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.

We were very comfortable and enjoyed the design details of the beautiful cabin. It rained the whole stay so we could only appreciate looking outside at the natural landscape. The internet worked well for remote work. The mattress was so comfortable. We would love to stay here again.

The cabin is in such a peaceful setting. We enjoyed the deck and fire pit, and listening to all kinds of birdsong. All the amenities made our stay comfortable, providing everything one would need at home. When we had questions, Danielle responded very quickly with helpful tips, answers, and suggestions.

I booked this property as a kind of ad hoc writing retreat. It was the perfect location to complete what work I needed to do. A quick drive into Sparta for restaurants and supplies also made this a great location.

We just stayed here for a 4-day Girls' Trip and had an amazing time! The house exceeded our expectations, with everything we could have possibly needed. Adam's instructions were clear, check in was super easy, and he has been super quick to respond to any questions. The house and surroundings were clean, quiet, and peaceful. If you come in the warm months be sure to ask for the kayaks and paddle boards to be left out! We had a blast! The house was also close to lots of trails for hiking and great restaurants. Overall, a 5/5 experience, would definitely recommend!

The Nordic Cabin was the perfect setting for my husband and I to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. The cabin is beautiful and the modern design, furnishings, and decor really stand out. Instructions of how to get into the cabin and the pitcures provided made check in and check out a breeze. The kitchen was well stocked. A bottle of white wine and a few treats were left for us. The kitchen offered different spices, oils, milk, and eggs. Kitchen utensils, pots/pans, dishes, cups, glasses, etc are provided, as well as cleaning supplies. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the cozy living room and slept well in the beautiful bedroom. Last, I have to say that the first time we opened the gate at night, after dinner in Warwick, and saw all of the outdoor lights on, really made it feel like we were entering an enchanted garden. My family and I had an amazing 5-day vacation at this cozy cabin in the woods. The cabin was spotless and beautifully decorated with modern mountain charm. After long days of hiking, it was a treat to unwind in the luxurious copper tub or the spacious shower. One of our favorite parts of the stay was feeding the trout in the stocked ponds—such a fun and memorable experience! The evenings were just as magical, with a warm fire pit and twinkling outdoor string lights setting the perfect mood. There was plenty of parking, which made things easy for our group. This spot would be ideal for a larger gathering, too—renting all three cabins would be perfect for a family reunion or group getaway. David was a fantastic host—always responsive, helpful, and clearly dedicated to creating an excellent guest experience. The location is also great for nature lovers, with easy driving access to hiking gems like Bushkill Falls and Raymondskill Falls. Highly recommend this stay! We’d love to come back!
